F1 2016 wishlist

Make it so you do more than 1 season you supply or buy engines and you work on your cars chassis

At this point, I no longer have a wishlist. Just take it out back and put a bullet in its head. Put it out of its misery.

Put a manual control in pit lane.

1. If the player wrong, or throw the car (on purpose) upon of the team's for the exchange of tires (hitting other cars stopped, delaying others getting in front, trampling teams, etc). The game should have a slow motion, as in GTA, when the character dies. It would be like, fail in the race (is disqualified, the race ends), by doing something that is not allowed; can put a timer also, to player complete that part of rules in the game, in case of the player delay actions, this is the strict version of the pit lane.

2. And put even the option to make mistakes, the car to correct the path automatically or do a reset.
These two options, in order to be changed in the menu.

1- Simulator version.
2- Arcade version.
Consider the two, please.  :) ;)
And improve the pit lane animation, is very fake in F1 2015, the car make curve very fast, and seems to turn on its own axis. It's something too fast, it gets weird.

  1. Career mode with your own driver rather than choosing 1 of the 22 on the grid and freedom to customise session length e.g. half practice, full quali and 25% race

  4. Build your own team with some form of currency in order to buy upgraded parts etc, custom livery and sponsors etc
  5. Classics content, possibly 70s after having 80s and 90s in F1 2013
  6. Handling effects like more rubber going down on the track as the session progresses
  7. R&D
  8. More celebrations and driver reactions
  9. Online co-op
  10. Splitscreen co-op
  11. Splitscreen races that aren't co-op (I can't come up with a word for this)
  12. Bring back time attack and scenario mode
  13. Please less bugs than F1 2015
8. Yes, characteristics celebrations and reactions (special for each driver).

And Improve circuits like: Singapore, need of best buildings. It seems to have been taken advantage parts of the F1 2014 scenario for 2015; Need more definition, resolution.

Reintroduce the safety car it's a must !!!!

Get rid of Antony Davidson and maybe Crofty but definitely try to get Brundle and Johnny Herbert, Ben Edwards too maybe..

Official race engineers would be cool too and you get to choose which voice you want to hear as your race engineer.

Keep the handling model and physics. 

Mini map in different colours to identify each racer and not just lapped cars or your team mates.

Bigger catalogue of circuits specifically to be used online.

Sky F1 and official F1 HUD with a timing bar during the race to go around the bottom of the screen with different times from leader to person behind.

Helmet and number customisation on cars for online would be neat too.

Even though I don't have a good PC, Xbox One or PS4, I still want a good game.

1. There are games dedicated to Motorsport Management, so there is no need for it in the next game.

2. Custom helmets are a good idea, hard though to implement in a game, I would imagine.

3. Career mode return-I absolutely loved this mode and would like to see it back, just allow us to pick our own numbers please...

4. Practice sessions- They might make the game realistic, but you're just wasting tires and time, why can't you just do your testing in one hour, now you need 4?

5. Inproved Legend mode- The difficulty levels on the F1 games are decent, but the hardest level must be so hard that you really enjoy fighting for 10th in a Mercedes.

6. You'll all ust complain in the end about the formation lap taking too long, so let it go.

7. Info inside the engineer's speech option- I have watched tonnes of F1 2015 videos, and I really enjoyed seeing my youtuber, aarava, having to anylise the engineer's word, before the patch that introduced the info panel arrived.

That is all I can think of now, but I may edit it later

Forget the stupid commentary, they need to stop wasting money on that and spend money on things that are important such as making sure there are no problems for the release of the game and make sure the handling feels decent for sim and arcarde racers. And the Career Mode needs improving a lot it has to be entertaining otherwise the game is pointless.

More time and control of the car when the race ends, till the car go to the garage and podium...ot when happens a crash (see the driver see the driver leaving the cockpit of the car)...

  • If possible a game with not that many bugs
  • A twenty two car Multiplayer
  • Race starts from the pitlane and red flag for race restarts after extreme weather

A more complete F1 driving experience, from the moment you get into the car until you get down from it, i.e. all of the following should be able to be done manually by the player (some of them may only apply to single player mode):
- Manual clutch (to avoid engine stall only; not used for shifting on a F1 car).
- Dedicated button for Neutral (shifting down from 1st gear should do nothing).
- Toggleable speed limiter (and pit lane speed excess penalties).
- Drive out of the box into the pit lane.
- Drive across the pit lane.
- Drive into the pit lane (braking + speed limiter again).
- Place the car for pit stop (BRAKES ON for tyre change).
- Stop the car in place for returning into the box.
- In practice, choose between pit stop or going into the box (before entering the pit lane). Default to box if damage or no fuel, pit stop otherwise.
- Start practice (after Free Practice in some circuits)
- Warm-up laps (pit lane open) and drive to the grid.
- Formation lap.
- Make it possible to misplace the car (penalty)
- Real start light sequence (time between all-lights-on and all-lights-off shall never be below 1 second)
- Make it possible to jump the start (penalty)
- Launch control for the start (to prevent revs from maxing during start procedure)
- Drive-in lap after session is over.
- Remove time limits to end the session or during safety car.
- Do not auto brake when out of the track or during safety car.
- NEVER AUTO DRIVE THE CAR.

Handling:
- Improve handling, particularly braking, at low speeds. Does not feel real (too much lock-up when no aids in place).

Flags:
- Green flags at the start of the session, after safety car in, or during formation laps.
- White flags (slow car on track).
- Blue flags during practice and qualifying.
 > Steady blue flag means "car behind is much faster and trying to overtake, but you are racing him, no need to let pass".
 > Waving blue flag means "car behind is in timed lap and you are not, or car behind is lapping you, let it pass".
- Electronic flags on the circuit should work for all flags (green, blue, yellow, red, white, not only for Safety Car).
- All flags during drive-in lap after the race.

Settings:
- Full weekend (FP1, FP2, FP3, Q1, Q2, Q3, Race)
- No ghosts should mean no ghosts at all

UI:
- Remove timers from my face while I'm driving (time to end of the session)
- Remove lights from my face during race start (I want to look at the lights on the circuit)
- Remove flags from my face while I'm driving (I will see them along the track)

AI:
- More aggressiveness, but less pace overall
- Better respect blue flags

And of course, more F1 classics from the 2000s, I'd love to have 2003, 2004, 2005 cars, gorgeous! Can't believe that was 10 years ago already!

I was playing F1 2014 a few hours ago, and realized when SafetyCar came to the track, the car is automatic, and gives impatience:

Place the game started from the pit, in the garage, then the whole team work, then lap presentation, until the formation of the grid in positions (if you do not behave properly, penalty),  let the player do that (if the player do not jump this step, but if wants, put the possibility, for those who are simulator player).

Place the possibility of a false start (and penalty by start jump).

The entire team of journalists rushing to the formation lap.
Show team with winch, for example, working when the Safety Car is on track (clearing the track, or towing a car).
No more ghosts, not even when the opponent abandoned the race. (In race)

End up with that ghost car when the player is disqualified. Just finish the race. End too with all kinds of autoplay. (player)

Improve opponents (CPU), because they can barely dodge a car crossed the track. They spin the wheel of an indecisive way from one side to the other, to try in luck, out of the situation. Improve the intelligence of opponents pilots.

Allow all (let the car 100% manual everywhere), but also penalize all wrong (when people take advantage of the freedom to take undue advantage).
Figurants more real (with realistic faces), and more excited. (more live environment)
The sound of the fans
Dynamic weather

Celebrations specials, characteristic of each pilot.

Car floor sparkle, scraping the ground.

Damage more realistic car. With logic physics (cars more sensitive to damage).

Realistic Radio Conversation between team and pilot.

Greater distance image field charging. (In F1 2015 sometimes you can tell the scenery carrying still by far).

When Gearbox is "Manual and Suggested" (which shows the best gear for the corner) and my camera is in the cockpit, not show the suggestion gear. This does happen in F1 2015 (in cockpit cam). In cockpit cam, the gears and speed are showing through the steering own wheel, but no show gears "Suggested" and DRS indicator. Like in others cameras. Should appear on the HUD, even without showing complete HUD (with speed and gears).

Improve interface for car setup.

Improve the appearance of the pilots.

Improves the environment, especially the nocturnal circuits, such as buildings, for example.

Fix the bug: the car hit front, the beak, tip to the ground, and enters in the asphalt
(do not allow the car exceeds the floor or flies very high).

Ghost car, transparent, just close, if hit, go inside (ghost car), otherwise drive "ghost" of the best around, normal, 100% opaque, in a smooth transition throug of distance (In Time Trial).

When the car cross the finish line, do not let it manually, let the player who gets to the paddock for celebration.

Improve the illumination and shadow in the car (including the legs, need be more dark).

Replays with all cameras views of  F1TV.

Less Cut of Scenes (and more differents scenes).

Tutorial, test drive, driving learning, from start to finish, rules, training, how to behave in the pit, which is flag, yellow, blue, red; of stopping on the grid position, and more. Very complete.

If you have any need to get an autopilot, in place of the player, do the pilot transition very, very soft !!! because if you are in the opposite corner of the track to cross the finish line, and ends the race, the CPU takes over, and throws the car very fast, to the "right" side. And this is very hard, you can come another driver ago and beating.

It is unacceptable.

Fix the width of the cars Mercedes, which has smaller width (size in general), and the hands and arms of the drivers end up getting in the car. Or decrease pilot size (in short, fix that which is wrong). Is a bug of aesthetic:

Put the Oficial HUD Formula One. Is the best:
Attention to every feature, every driver has.
Look at the hands of Rosberg, see how the car is tight, and his hands holding the steering wheel in a peculiar way.

Improve the appearance of pit lane garages, more realistic details like rain upon the garages around the environment in general. (in F1 2015, the rain was not very real, when dripped from the pit lane garages).
The animations of the tire change team;
they should go away long after the car leave the pit lane (in F1 2015, you can see they just fading) ... Could they plan to walk back to the garage.

Make a game directed to the most extreme players who want simulator.
Also, rather consider the Arcade players.

Put checkboxes and more checkboxes, with options to enable settings that let Simulator game mode or disable, leaving the game in Arcade mode.

I think having the "+0.2" or "-0.2" (dunno what it's called) figures on your steering wheel to see if you are gaining or losing time during your qualy/practice lap would be good.

You can change tyre strategy example now Abu Dhabi tyre selection was R,R,R,Y or Y,R,R,R. So I hope that I can do like R,Y,Y. Those lettersare from colours.

- Improved track physics
I don't know, how this game made track physics, but I hope you improve it. More tyre particles to track . Make track changing better wwith whole weekend.

I hope that you can found own league. Its like Career,but there is 16 human players or 20 (if you can do it). You made rules for that season. Add players for that season (make many slots for reserve drivers). After races, game save points and race results to online.

-Advanced team radio
Team radio is pretty good now. Hope, that we can get "Advanced team radio", which tips are like Formula 1 Japan GP "So push to attack to destroy his tires." or "We are plan B, plan B.".  Add that engineer repeat command: "Box this lap. Box this lap. Box box box.".

You guys are concentrating on things that are so pointless. I just want a fun game that actually works and is consistent. Give me a unique career mode and a reason to play online again! Thats all I ask for really! Everyone loves F1 2010, F1 Championship Edition and F1 Challenge 99-02 (PC ONLY) , we just need a mix of those games and inspiration from Dirt Rally and boom we have the best F1 game of all time!

Thats all I ask for really! Everyone loves F1 2010, F1 Championship Edition and F1 Challenge 99-02 (PC ONLY) , we just need a mix of those games and inspiration from Dirt Rally and boom we have the best F1 game of all time!
No, they concentrate on things YOU think are pointless. Big difference.
