F1 tyre user editor

Recommended Posts

Hi all and @BarryBL

Here are some suggestions of what I would like to see added and changed to the f1 game. The first point is if the user can manually change the performance of the cars so that we don't need to wait months for a performance patch when the user come change it to reflect each and ever race so for example if a car runs well at one track and struggles at the next track then we can change the performance to reflect that.

The next point is similar to the point before and this is a tyre editor when we can change the tyre life and delta between each compound so an example is that the user can replicate either a 1 stop race like the British GP or go aggressive and make the soft tyre wear out super quick and having to manage and use the medium and hard tyre like the 70 th anniversary GP which used a compound softer then the week before race. The game has it that Silverstone is easy on tyre and is a race one race form the soft tyre to the medium tyre whereas we know that Silverstone is very hard on the tyres which is why there were punctures during the final few laps.

by having a tyre editor we can make the 100% races on the game a one stop race maybe using the harder tyre as on 100% races the hard tyre isn't really used as all whereas in real life grand prixs most of the tyre the Mercedes verstappen use the mediums in q2 and change to the hards in the race whereas the rest of the top 10 go soft tyres then change on to hard tyre. Or we can have races with really high tyre wear like the early Pirelli days

On the game Russia and Italy are both two stop races whereas in real life they have very low tyre wear so by using an editor we could reflect this on the game.

One stop races are the way that modern f1 races are unless there are safety cars in the races and I would like this to be in the game.

A third change is a visual appearance to the rear wings to show downforce levels and it's looks a bit weird racing around spa and monza with massive wings whereas in real gps they are tiny so that would be done and if I can remember f1 2006 on the psp did this where the rear wings angle would be bigger with more downforce and then smaller with a small wing.

The final point is when the track changes from wet to dry the track dries so quickly and in a couple of laps the track can be bone dry form heavy rain whereas in real life the dry line can dry quickly but off the racing line the track stays wet for the rest of the race. For example take the Hungarian GP this year where the track started off wet then the racing line dried quickly and everyone was on dry tries by lap 5/70 but offline stayed wet until the end.

Sorry for the long post but hope these points can be added in future f1 games if that's possible.
