This is not properly a bug but I think it would deserve to be treated as such: race in Bahrain 100%, ALL the AI opponents started the race with Soft tyres! While it's well known most of the drivers from 11th place up would try different strategy in the real, mostly starting with Medium at least. It would be nice to consider it, for a next patch... TomEC3 4 Posted November 7 I agree this is a big problem. Applies to all race modes, including F2 where starting-tyre variation should be even bigger. Right now not a single AI car starts on anything other than soft tyres. In F1 2019 there was good variation in AI tyre strategy. In F1 2020 there is literally none. TomEC3 4 Posted November 24 For F2 races on patch 1.13 I can confirm that all AI drivers start the feature race on softs. This must be a bug because no-one would design it this way. Anyone who has watched F2 knows one of the defining characteristics of the feature races is that typically a third of the grid (roughly) runs the ‘alternate strategy’ of harder tyre first then softer tyre towards the end. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
