F1 2015 wheel/pedals calibration ?

Recommended Posts

I wonder if a wheel calibration option is planned with a futur update?
The control is not that great on PS4, it's not 1 to 1.
We need a calibration option for pedals and wheel IMO.

They really need to look at Dirt Rally... a game from their own company. They actually have good calibration for wheels!

["Definitely I cannot calibrate my brakes for effective breaking since I have t3pa pedals"]

??? it works fine for me : xBoxOne, tx, t3pa pro with in-game parameters to the default ( linearity 50 ).

Don't forget to full press your pedals at the beginning of your session game, the wheel calibrate itself when you plug it, but you have also to full press your pedal to calibrate them.

and make sure to have the last TX firmware ( v49.B9 )

Thanks Didd31 will try it today. When you say game session, do you mean when sitting in the pits or do you mean outside the game on Xbox home screen? I have the latest firmware installed it a month ago for pcars49b9. Also are able to lock your wheels while braking with no assists? My problem is the conical mod cuts my brake travel distance by 1\2. I have set it to minimum

make it when your are on pits a the beginning, so you can be sure that your pedals are calibrate. I do the same in project cars, it is the TX witch works like this. Warning if you use the trustmaster's bump pedal break mod, you have to fully compress it, to caligrate for the max range. It's not a good thing to have the bump near the pedal, it reduces the range/travel so the data precision sending. Personnaly i removed the mod because of this problem, the original spring of the brake pedal ( not the second mod metallic spring ) is enough for me, braking is more controlable like this, according to my feeling.

yes i can lock my wheels with no assist ( even to often :-) ) , and it's nice, after that i have "square wheels" who make a lot of visual vibrations and loose some grip during a little time ( in cockpit view you can see those vibrations ) good job CM ;)

my pedals are t3pa pro.

edit : if you want keep your brake mod like this, try to increase the brake linearity in the advanced wheel setting (  => 100 ) to catch the full brake power with a less range/travel. i didn't test that in F1 but on ProjectCars it works ( with less precision of course because less range/travel)

Thanks Didd31 I will try you suggestions , much appreciated I removed the conical mod and yes the brakes lock now.. But they don't feel like brakes anymore. It's just a matter of getting used to it but they should have the brake saturation slider Imo. Also setting linearity to 100 did not work for me, the brakes became more unresponsive. Without the mod ican finally brake properly and that improved the feel of the game.
