Choosing our car's front wing/aesthetic design in MyTeam for F1 2021

Hey codies,

Can you please add a feature in the next F1 game (F1 2021) in which at the start of the MyTeam career or before every season we can choose the design of the car. I dont mean the livery, I mean the aerodynamics and such. Like we can have a Ferrari nose or a Merc nose. Some noses could have its own strengths or weaknesses. It would be really cool to have this feature. I own F1 2019 and I hope to buy F1 2021. I consider you my favorite devs cuz you all are such player friendly and make DiRT and F1. I hope you can implement this feature. If not you can also choose any feature from these videos.

@BarryBL wont this be an epic addition to MyTeam, which is already legendary! This for sure would make F1 2021 be the truly most awesome game in the world (but it already is) but it would be even better! And i am talking about the front wing personalization, Like you could have a Merc, Ferrari or McLaren wing! It would bE eXtRaOrDiNaRy

I like the idea as a fan of the game, however, the MyTeam car is something that has to, at this exact moment in time, be approved by a number of stakeholders in the sport and be universally accepted for us to even run these game modes. To do this, the core design has to stay the same. Therefore, we don't have the ability to give players the edit the core design on the car at the moment.

@BarryBL I mean that we can have about 2-3 car options to choose from at the start of the game. Option 1:Like in the first interview if we compliment the low drag of the aero we can have a front wing like the 2019 ferrari or if we compliment the downforce we can have a Red Bull/Mercedes style front wing. OR OPTION 2: Have a NFS Heat style selection screen at the start of the season to choose a front wing style. I am not saying editing or creating a design, I mean CHOOSING a design which you have made. Look at this video at 9:55. There are 3 options of front wing to choose from. We cannot edit them, but we can choose one of them at the start of the season. @BarryBL this could be implemented in next years game as you only have to take 3 front wing designs from any cars (if you need permission then you can design your own or take permission 🙂) and make a choosing screen before the start of the season!

You were  saying  'Therefore, we don't have the ability to give players the edit the core design on the car at the moment.' I am not talking about this. I am saying that you can let us CHOOSE A FRONT WING DESIGN FROM 2-3 DESIGNS IN A SELECT SCREEN. Those 3 designs will be from other cars or anything the devs design. We could not EDIT them, we would CHOOSE from some in a selection screen. Look at the thumbnail (cover photo) of the above video. There are three front wing designs and each have its strengths/weaknesses. At the start of the season we could choose from them in a selection screen.

I understand your reasoning @IneedToPlayGame, and it would be a interesting addition, however, for us to have the MyTeam/Multiplayer car at all, we have to have a universally accepted set design from all relevant stakeholders that cannot change. Would be something to consider in the future. however, at this time, something that is unlikely to happen in all honesty.
