Why do CM always seem to struggle with race positions in F1 games?

Hi Everyone

It looks like there a "issues" (or its broken) with F1 2015 online.

Last night I had a three person race online and unfortunately it was the usual and now shamefully to be expected Codemasters oddness in online mode of a game not working properly.
Everyone apparently finished in firsts you can see I was in the lead an then 1st place actually finished 5 seconds ahead of me.
On Vents screen he was in first
On Toucs screen he was in first
On my screen I had a good battle but was in first up until Touc finished 5 seconds ahead of me?

My question is why do CM always seem to struggle with finishing positions in F1 games! Surely finishing positions and how the race goes in a fundamental part of a racing game and should be working before its released!?!
Does anyone know if this will be addressed in a patch or is this just another broken Codemasters game?

I hope Codies fix this!
