Just ended a race 100% in Monaco 2nd season, when I faced a kind of an issue for the first time, not properly a bug, but a feature to fix as well IMHO: after the first 13 crazy laps (the first 6 dry, then 7 with Intermediates) I was entering the pit once again to change back into dry compound to end the race, no more rain expected. After my best qualifying of the season (P7) I entered the pit in P6 with 65 laps ahead confident to be able to catch the best result of the whole career when taken absolutely by surprise, my mechanics changed my front wing! I didn't know there was any damage, the car was perfectly drivable, probably a very light rear-end collision in the excited initial stages at Grand Hotel. Actually I checked my telemetry and I had 15% damage on the front left and 8% on the right. I repeat, the car was perfect. I tried to used the 'Flashback' but the replay was starting already inside the pit lane when the settings about damage repair (Automatic, Yes, No) cannot be modified anymore!!! Mine was set to Automatic. No way, I lost 6.5 s. and back on track in P11 and you know how difficult it is to overtake in Monaco What I'm asking here is double: 1) the player must really be made aware that the car is damaged and most of all that the current car condition will trigger the damage repair in the box, according with the current setting! Both the radio and preferably a message on the screen should be added, 100% clear, without any doubt. I would have changed the setting when still on track, because I really didn't need to repair and mainly in Monaco the position is too much important. 2) I can't understand why inside the pit lane I'm still able to change the compound of the next tyres but I cannot change the damage repair setting when I'm still 5-10 seconds far from my box! What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc) Any screenshots or video of the issue? If the video is long, please include a timestamp for when the issue appears.
