GAME TURNS FROM FULLSCREEN TO WINDOWED DURING PLAY

During play the game froze, the screen turned white - sound continued as normal, then the fullscreen turned to windowed, the game screen then Returned. However, when I did a ALT+ENTER to return the game to fullscreen the process repeated. Left the game in window for a minute or so and continued to play, then On the next attempt at fullscreen everything went back to normal.

Small bugs noticed today, nothing that makes the game unplayble (besides multiplayer). During the first few laps at China in 50% race distance I had various drivers names appear (like they do above cars when you are following) in front of you, except I was in the lead of the race. I was in the Williams.

And after qualifying on pole at the end of the session I recieved the standard black screen with David Croft telling you how pleased you must be etc. Be nice to see me celebrating at least...

Next was water on the car in the pit garage, yet I had not even turned a wheel. Unless of cause you are suggesting that the Chinese Garages are not water tight? Also after each run, teams always wipe down the cars while in the garage (has a lot to do with the large amount of electricity in the cars now from the MGU-K) as its an electrical hazzard, this is not represented. The water 'layer' on the car was also moving about very noticeably, and you could even see the edges of the 'water layer' over top of the cars colour scheme 'layer'.

The last one I noticed after the last 3-4 hour play, was multiplayer games. It took 95% of the time I was playing single player mode to connect to a multiplayer game! I know that we are all avoiding the multiplayer system because it simply doesnt work properly (and we want the old system back) but for it to take that long before I connected suggests either a problem with the server, or we really are voting with our feet! Oh and I am playing during 12-4pm Beijing Standard Time, so at least 1/3 the worlds population awake and many countries are on school holidays at the moment, so surely there were people playing F1 2015.

Unable to make any changes to the car whilst travelling down pit lane! Great opportunity to save some time, wasted. I want to change brake bias, fuel mixture and even choose the next set of tires! In fact last race I tried to switch to Inters as rain was setting in, and after selecting the tires about 3 corners (China) from the pit entry I was infuriated to find they fitted the pre planned Primes! There went my race!

When driving suddenly the screen goes black from left to right and the overlays remain. The game keeps running in the Background.

It doesn't happen everytime and cannot be reproduced on demand. I tried several VSYNC Options (OFF, ON, G-SYNC) but always the same result. Other games run okay.

I use the following hardware:

i7 5930k, Asus X99-A mainboard, Corsair 2600 16GB RAM, MSI Geforce Titan X 12GB, AOC G-Sync 24'' Screen, Windows 8.1, G25 wheel

latest NVIDIA drivers 353.30

Having some serious issues whilst playing this game online on the PC.
  • The lag is almost unbearable at times, other times I have no issues at all
  • Collisions ON - variable feast, sometimes you'll just drive through other players, other times you'll crash straight into them and the rest of the time you'll end up ghosting halfway through them and then spinning out because you've collided.
  • Corner cutting/track extending- sometimes you can cut massive chunks out of corners and get away scot free, other times you'll put one wheel on the curb and get a 10 second penalty. Its not consistent AT all.
  • Xbox Controller settings don't work at all, I had to make my own map for the controls. Occasionally the game will revert back to the original controller settings and then I get stuck in 1st gear with full acceleration but the car wont move. Then, with the new controller mapping, I try to change things on the wheel (brake bias, fuel mix, car info etc) and the car veers violently off track and I end up in the wall or with a corner cutting penalty.
  • Fuel Mix doesn't change the revs at all.
I'm really disappointed with this game, I would understand these issues if the game was released for sub£15 with a "pre-alpha" or even "beta" tag,  but this has been dubbed a "full release" with a £39.99 price point on Steam so I really shouldn't be beta testing for it and submitting bug reports. I have run leagues on 2012, 2013, 2014 and my new league starts on 2015 on Sunday so I will continue to play the game, but all these issues are making it very very difficult.
Please, please, please Codemasters, fix these issues. You are very lucky to have an understanding and committed player base, but I'm pretty sure that is dwindling very quickly.

Summary / Description of the Issue.

I have problems with the views that you see the car from the back. In spanish "Vista de Persecucion". I suppose in english will be pursuit view or persecution view...

When I choose these views the car is viewed from the left side, not from the back and it's impossible to drive...

The first time I play the game it works fine but from today these views are wrong...

Really enjoying the game, but I have a bug to report..........

STRANGE PITSTOP DECISION

After restarting a Championship race after a poor start the game asked me to pit on lap 3 (there had been no change in the weather and I had not received a puncture). My white walled primes were changed to another set of exactly the same tyres......The game then suggested my next stop should be on lap 20. I was running a 100% distance race.
The weather at the start of the race was cloudy with spots of rain.
Before I did the restart the weather for the original race had been clear.

Platform: PC
Game Mode: Championship

The Steps to Reproduce The Issue.
(e.g. Game Mode > Track > Team / Driver > Camera view > Lap)
Championship/Malaysia/Williams/Bottas/Roll Bar/Lap: 3

What were you doing specifically when the issue occurred?
The problem occurred when I had restarted a race as the result of a poor start - don't know if that has anything to do with it.

What is the Frequency of the issue?
First time I have received a strange pit decision.

Your recent history of races.
Williams, championship mode

How long was your current session?
Full session 100% race, but I quit after the pitstop as the AI didn't stop and my race was spoilt.

What controller / wheel were you using?

Really enjoying the game, but I have a bug to report..........

WRONG CHOICE OF STARTING TYRE

After restarting a Championship race in Australia several times as a result of bad starts I was reset on the grid in clear, sunny conditions with myself and the rest of the grid on wets. The AI were clearly on wets and the Race Director confirmed this. The restarted the game 6 times, but the situation didn't alter - same tyres, same weather. I ended up restarting championship mode from scratch.

Platform: PC
Game Mode: Championship

The Steps to Reproduce The Issue.
(e.g. Game Mode > Track > Team / Driver > Camera view > Lap)
Championship/Australia/Williams/Bottas/Roll Bar/Lap: 1

What were you doing specifically when the issue occurred?
Waiting on the starting grid.

What is the Frequency of the issue?
Happened repeatedly, but after restarting the whole of championship mode the problem disappeared. Has not happened since.

Your recent history of races.
Williams, championship mode

How long was your current session?
Full session 100% race, but quite on lap 1.

What controller / wheel were you using?

Not sure if it's been mentioned already because of the amount of different issues being reported, but here's a problem I came across tonight:

ILLEGAL OVERTAKE(?): Two cars ahead of me went off the circuit after battling, and I passed through on the racing line to take the position, but according to the game, that is an illegal overtake, so I had to wait for one of the cars to escape the gravel trap to give the position back and avoid a penalty.

The game closes all Game modes including loading, without a specific point is random and happens 99% of the time. Sometimes occurs Error 41 even after the patch 20/07.

Hello,

I'm racing the GP of Austria. In Q1 I was driven behind Ricciardo. Out of the blue his left rear tyre disappear and the only thing you saw was his rear left brake. Maybe you can do something with this bug

The acceleration display of steering wheel appears to be defective, only rises a part, why?

I need to warn you more five things.
  1. In "Time Trial", in Melbourne at least, there are several parts of the track where you go out, and the lap not invalidated; as it has parts that if you leave part of the tire touching a little off track, lost the lap.
  2. Another mistake was when I saw a replay, and my car was shown above, it looked like a mirror, reflecting the environment too. There was no texture. Only an empty, with environmental image.
  3. On the starting grid of the race, the cars were poorly positioned, completely out of line, out of position, along with the grid position mark to where the car is stopped before starting the race. That's impossible happen. It's a glitch in the game really.
  4. In Melbourne at least, there is a part of the track, where the game seems to run slower than normal. After the five corner where the car passes at high speed to the next corner.
  5. Finally, when you use the flashback, or restart a session, one race for example, where you just get involved in a crash resulting in wrecks, car pieces down the runway and flying, etc. When you restart the race, or return a part of the race with flashback, these broken car particles are in the air, even if you have already restarted the race.
Thanks.

Steering wheel LEDs are not a bug, you do not see the full range (green to red to blue) this is so DRS active can be indicated where the green lights are, first two only I believe

Edit: McLaren wheels do show all Rev LEDs must have a different LED to indicate DRS activation

This has been reported but not in great detail.

There is an issue with Thrustmaster pedals on T500/T300/TX (it seems from the forums), where some people find there is a huge deadzone (about 50-80%) in both brake and accelerator.

From my testing, this only occurs when you create a custom map of the controls. If I leave my T300/F1 on the preset control layout, the pedals are fine and I get full range. Firmware (24) and drivers (2.80.20.0) 100% up to date.

I was able to set my own button layout by modifying the action_map_preset_win.xml, but this is still less than ideal.

Hello,

I've ended the Austrian Grand Prix 100%. The race begins with a lot of rain. At the end of the race it becomes dry. The turn from dark black skies to sunlight was very strange. It wasn't smooth but it looks like a blink. From dark and grey ...POOF ... Sunny. It looks like you turn on your TV. I hope you can do somthing with this comment.

If my engineer keeps on staring at me when he brings over the damn pad to let me change my set up anymore I'm going to chin him!  just why on earth does he stare at me!  It's your job come over and help.  But seriously I hate the Pad set up why can't I have a chat with my engineer.  Why can't I advise of under steer and he says ok come into the pits and we will make a change for you.  Then show you the changes they suggest and you sign them off (a bit too much like real life maybe....).  There are too many bad things about this game to list all of them but people have done a good job of telling Codemasters but what I hate is there is very little coming back from them.  No thank you's, no can you elaborate on that please, can you show us evidence of that,  no nothing.  It gives the impression they don't care which I guarantee isn't right - they do care and they are proud of their work so why can't they comment and say "hi my name is ****** I am a senior engine programmer and I am looking into this issue now.  Please bear with me while I and my team try to sort this thanks for bringing it to our attention and would like you to supply as much evidence as possible for instances like this.  I can't only look into this instance at the moment so please do not report other issues to my me at the moment.  I will update you when I have found the issue and will let you know when we have found a cure.  Because you have found the issue would you like to become a q+a tester for the patches that we are building (I have sent you details via a private message) we appreciate all the help we can get in making our games the best they possibly can be" surely in today day and age this is the kind of after care service we deserve and surely it will make their jobs easier to have more constructive feedback given to them but I for one will not waste my time writing to a company who seems unlikely to hear my voice.  You can prove me wrong Codemasters by private messaging me or even replaying to my comment to let me know you do read and listen to every comment written.  I however will not hold my breath.

Another 100% race ruined by the AI. I can't believe I paid for this game. This time at Monza.

When they get lapped, they make an half-arsed attempt to let you through once, and when you're not close enough to pass, they decide tough luck, we're racing each other now and you're not getting past! And when you do pass them - this goes for both lapped cars and when fighting for position. When you're clearly past, they just take the normal line anyway like you're invisible and tap your rear end and it causes a spin. It is hugely infuriating when you're in a close fight and a backmarker just ****s into you. If it happened every once in a while, then fine, but this was 3 times in 5 laps by different cars.

Confirm that crazy behaviour from backmarkers in 100% happens to me in Catalunya, Monaco, and Hungary. So far. I guess no QA tester ever bothered to test in 100% races (probably too long...). In Monaco, there was a Manor blocking the way of a train of 7 (yes, seven) frontmarkers for laps and laps and laps: Not One Car Behind Them (mine being the last in line...) would make a move to try to lap it.

It was like the Manor was a permanent safety car. L.a.u.g.h.a.b.l.e.
But still hoping it will be fixed anyway.

Edit: Just had the game change from full screen mode to window mode on Lap 27 in Hungary 100% Race
(Championship in Ricciardo's car)
NVIDIA GeForce 860M Driver ver 353.50 WHQL. (first time that happened since purchase).
