Linux installation issues

Recommended Posts

Hey! I'm using Linux Mint and I'm trying to install Dirt Rally 2.0 via Steam.

It downloads and installs roughly 100gb worth of files, but when I try to start the game, steam says that the dirtrally2.exe is missing. It doesn't install the .exe file at all.

I have bought the game via the Steam Store so I don't have any physical codes or anything.

I have the latest kernel and proton versions, but the problem lies in not having a .exe file and maybe some other files installed.

Hi there.

DiRT Rally 2.0 isn't officially available on Linux.

I presume you're using some sort of Windows emulator but I'm afraid we don't have any official documentation on that, sorry. 😞
