Also about the Xbox Controller bug ... everytime I press B to get info about my car the steering just goes to shit, no idea what´s going on ... and also when I hold down LB I can just steer left and right like crazy. the steering just goes away ... so when I´m about to check on my car in corners I just loose control of the car because it turns like crazy for some reason ... see video down below so you understand what I´m saying.

How do you get the car info up like that? I've pressed every button and can't find it. Is this on 360?

I disagree that we're refusing to communicate, but I don't disagree with the sentiment. I'm not being told what I can and can't say really, I make that call myself. There is certain things I won't say for various reasons, but there is an immense amount of discussion and back and forth between myself and the teams in dev with regards to patches and timings and content etc.

I'm very strongly of the opinion that I would rather tell you that we've made fixes, when the fixes go live, rather than promising you something and then something changing in that meantime. Game development is a strange and cruel mistress sometimes, so me telling you that something is coming 'soon (tm)' is in my eyes, worse than saying nothing.

I'm very open to discussion though, I want us to be able to talk to each other properly about things like these.
Ok so are we talking days, weeks or months for a console patch?

We're working on a patch to go out as soon as we can.

Doesn't really answer the question though mate. As soon as you can might mean two months because of how much there is to fix and how many people are working on it, so it's just another wishy washy politicians answer to skirt around the question

I don't want to shoot the messenger but the lack of information prior to launch and regarding timeframes to make the game playable after people have parted with cash for a supposed game is moronic!

I'm not sure what you expected, honestly. We are working on patches but I can't give you a date and time, because I simply don't know. The way the patches work with console is they have to go through a submission process so after we submit them they go through a lot of checks and processing before they are rolled out live.

We have patches for both consoles in the works that will hopefully come out soon (for the record, I hate using 'soon' and I know a lot of others do). I'm not going to give you a timeframe, because I don't want to promise you a date, because if something happens and that date slips, it makes no one happy.

Honestly, I'm sorry you feel that I'm giving you a politicians answer, but that's the way it is.

Is there any chance of an FoV slider for PC @LiteralZero - in particular for us triple-screeners?. The default views are unusable and I've tried blanking out side screens with 1920x1080 and it's like being back on PS3.

Never mind time frames, where does CM intend to go with this game THIS year. What are you going to fix and what (if any) features are you going to Chang or reinstate?

There's plenty time to think about the rest of the year. Right now, me and all of the team are focused on fixing the issues players are experiencing and making the experience that we launched with a solid and fun one.

@LiteralZero, quick question - are you aware of the bug with 'inverted' FFB (and also being very 'twitchy' and weak in general) on PS4 with T100 wheel? If so, are you planning to fix it soon?
Would be good to know, because otherwise I'd rather sell the game as with current FFB it's completely unplayable.

You're gonna have to be a bit more specific with that one bud. What do you mean by 'inverted'?

The FFB is something the team are working on so I'll pass this back over to them.

So you don't know the answer to that question either?
Which question? 'What are you going to fix and what (if any) features are you going to Chang or reinstate?'

We want to make sure that the game we shipped is working and players are able to experience the content in the game.

I think that's the right approach.  Fix what's there; don't try and add anything like the Safety Car.

So you are perfectly happy with the way practice and qualy is set up in championship mode 25% and 50% races?

No, I hope you didn't assume I was implying that everything is fine apart from the bug/issues. That is simply not the case.

Let's be 100% realistic here, it's FAR more important (in my eyes at least) that we make sure the game is playable and working for the massive majority of people first, then we address other concerns second.

Obviously this is not mutually exclusive, if we can make some popular changes to things, like you mention the weekend session lengths without causing more issues with the stability of the game, then of course we will, but it's not an exclusive trade off.

It's described in the first post of the following thread: http://forums.codemasters.com/discussion/7718/ps4-inverted-force-feedback-thrustmaster-t100
I'm having the same exact problem. Generally the FFB feels totally akward (you need to fight with FFB in the opposite direction you usually do in other games and this also makes the car extremely 'twitchy' - it's hard to keep it in the straight line).
Thanks.

Your not going to hurt my feelings if you say no safety car will not be added to this game but next year literal zero.

I did not ask nor imply that you should give reinstatement of  options/features priority over fixing the game. I asked a simple question: What option/features does CM intend reinstating in F1 2015 (this means not in F1 2016 next year), notwithstanding game fixes?

We're not discussing possible 'options/features' at this point in time, there is discussion surrounding possibilities and implementation of different things, but that's it. We're focused on fixing the issues that players are having first and foremost.

Before you ask, I can't tell you about what the internal discussion is.

@LiteralZero - Any news on whether the dev team have amended the Sauber and Williams wheel sizes, comparable to that in real life...?

I know you've stated that you passed this on, but would like to know if this is on their 'to do' list?

Thanks m8!

By the way, the new patch has made the game a lot more pleasant; and for some reason the stability of the game has been improved! ;) - not sure what they altered but it is better ;)

No update from where I'm at, I feel like at this point it falls into the 'alright we will look at this after we fix the broken parts' area. I know it is something you're keen on though.

That's great to hear! I noticed improvements when I was playing at lunch so hopefully we can keep going in this direction!
