F1 2015 - PS4 Patch - 22/07/15

Post patch blue flags no longer display on the track side digital displays or flags. On screen messages are also missing. The only way to tell is the dot on the track map turning blue which still works.

Cars still move out of the way though...just harder to tell if you are being lapped, no more info. Didn't hear radio messages either like pre patch but it may need a bit more testing.

Green and yellow flags and messages still work fine.

so the desync of seeing your mates cars in front of you but they're actually somewhere else is fixed?

also the race order will be correct now? Not having loads of people showing they're winning and a lottery where you finished when the race ends??

Patch for pc!! On pc the principal bug it's all unsolved! The console version it's more stable than pc version…
We’ve already had 3 patches for PC, and they’re working on more.

Thanks for the patch, keep them coming. 

There are fixes there for things I didn't even know existed as bugs, just shows how many there are

Every time I try to join wheel to wheel it won't work it says failed. The others are fine except you can't choose track or check how many people are in you just have to take what you are given. This is the most backwards way of playing multiplayer I have ever seen and they've took a great idea and made it worse than it used to be! Bring back to the old lobbies any day over this hopper bs that we can't take control over. What's the biggest lobby anyone has had in these stupid hopper things were given? Max I've had is 4 in one race. 

Just done one my first race and was wondering why everyone left - turns out when they put for interns they were all stuck in the pits which happened to me the next lap. 

The only way I think f1 games will be good again is if codemasters lose the licence. They are lazy and they are not fans of f1 (train in quali plus they do 6-9 laps each q session) no self respecting Fan would let this be in the game. 

They take everything good we ever had out of the game and give us a beta f1 2016

It's unbelievable codies!!

i just installed PS4 patch and continued my championship mode in montreal. I had nearly no bugs before, but now this game sucks at all.

-stupid AI, wear option tyres during heavy rain (in toal 6 pit stops for each of them)
- my driver's head is hanging like he's dead
- replay after race doesn't work anymore
- still no penalties for corner cutting
- picture freeze for five seconds during race
- noisy picture on high speed
....

What are you guys doing???

I can dream can't I, and literal zero hasn't said no to a safety car. When he says no safety car wont be in this game I will leave the topic alone.

Picked up the game on release day in US.  Loving the racing compared to last few versions. I can't hear the engineer though and I'm afraid I'm going to run out of fuel because I can't hear him tell me to go lean!
Same here! picked it up on release in Canada and really am enjoying this version. Really want that engineer volume addressed :)

New member, glad to have found this site.

Playing 2010 Codemasters on XBOX360; but wanting to buy the PS4 version for 2015.

Thankful for a game like this and like all the updates; however I need to see a patch that allows Q1/Q2/Q3 qualifying with a shorter race distance. I don't think its fair to have to play with all assists off  and full race to get this option. Im fairly new and part of the fun is following the same race weekend format. But who has time to sit for 70+ laps in one sitting?

Hello everyone

This morning we published a patch for the PlayStation 4 version of F1 2015. This patch contains a number of bug fixes and improvements to the game and we have listed some of the key changes below;

  •          Fixed an issue where voice chat does not always work in online lobbies or active gameplay
  •          Fixed an issue where completing several races in a row, players will desync from each other
  •          Fix for an issue where backing out from a lobby in which you were a Client and Hosting a new Lobby will result in you not having Host Options for your new Lobby
  •          Fixed an issue where fuel info resets every time you cross the start/finish line
  •          Fixed an issue where if the player makes an illegal overtake, they will not receive penalties for corner cutting
  •          Fix for an issue when a Host leaves a custom lobby, the new Host does not get host options
  •          Fixed an issue if the player returns to the garage during a Practice or Qualifying session, any penalties or warnings that are gained by the player during that session are wiped
  •          Fixed an issue where Multiplayer assists don't display the currently-active assists
  •          Fixed an issue where the game would crash when backing out of Time Trial replay on tracks where you have a lap time set
  •          Fixed an issue when the game crashes after selecting restart on the results screen if the player has set a lap time
  •          Fixed an issue where a players total race time is incorrect if they are demoted from 1st place after gaining a 2 second time penalty and finishing within 2 seconds of the cars behind
  •          Fix for an issue where changing teams in hopper lobby resets player points to zero
  •          Fixed an issue where the Manor Marussia team always use dry tires in wet sessions
  •          Fixed an issue where hopper lobby information will not show for players that have joined into the lobby via the friends list.
  •          Fix for an issue where assists are not saved and will be set back to default settings after leaving an online session.
  •          Fixed an issue where ghosting is inconsistent between players, resulting in collisions with ghosted vehicles
  •          Fixed an issue with a discrepancy between AI qualifying and race times
  •          Fixed an issue where no on screen message appears to inform players that DRS has been enabled or disabled in any session
  •          Fixed an issue if a player switches between multiple teams in a team menu select they will replace AI in the lobby.
  •          Fixed an issue for players using the Thrustmaster T500RS - A large amount of force feedback as soon as the player has been given control after a rolling start
  •          Fixed an issue where the 2 minute buffer at the end of a qualifying session does not end when all players cross the line and the players must wait for the time to expire before continuing
  •          Fix for an issue where the 'Fastest Lap' message does not appear on screen for the one who set it in an online race
  •          Fixed an issue where spectating cars in an online race shows them juddering back and forth on the track.
  •          This update also contains a number of stability and performance fixes.

 We know that this will not fix every bug that players may experience in the game and we are working hard to fix these issues as fast as possible.

For Xbox One players, we are working very hard to get a patch out as quickly as possible and will update with specific patch notes when that patch goes live.

We will continue to work to fix issues and errors that plays may experience in the game and would like to once again thank you for your patience while we work through this. I’d also like to thank the countless members of our forums and followers on our social channels that have been reporting bugs and issues to us since the launch of F1 2015.



when will you put into game the safety car?
we are on new consoles and there are still bugs and contents removed , incredible . Also add better support for the voice of the engineer and also an option to set the qualifications for weekend short to medium in q2 and q3 q1 . see you soon

Gameplay is very good. But you guys seriously need to sort out a couple of few to make this a great game.

1. Team mates pitting in the same lap. 
2. NO CAREER MODE!? Let us just enter our names and a helmet. I dont care about cut screens. I want to race as me against the current drivers. Plus not everyone likes playing online. 
3. Make searching for an online race easier and better. I have to wait 20mins most times to join a race then told I cant join cos its full. The old way worked brilliantly. 
4. If we're not getting a career mode (which baffles the hell out of me as this is the main feature everyone likes) then let us be able to change championship mode more. I.E - full quali, 25% race not just a single lap.

Am so confused to why you guys would make gameplay better but leave us with less features. Why add the 2014 season which no one will play and not give us career mode?! Such a bad decision. I have brought every codemasters F1 game and feel let down by this one considering it cost me £50 for something not as good as your previous titles.

Fix this hopper BS. Every race is 3 maybe 4 players. How difficult is it to match a complete grid. Wait a minute, of course, your using this hopper cr*p system to hide the fact your webcode isn't up to supporting more than 4 players. What a joke. fix it or give up your license to a studio that can do this title justice!

Thanks for patch! Have noticed a few of the improvements. Please, please prioritise the Hopper/lobbys online. I waited 25mins this evening to get in one, and it was great with 12 players, worked perfectly until it crashed in the Setup screen of the 2nd race. However the gameplay was spot on in the first race, only issue was a few times were out. Looked like it was adding on 3minutes to the amount of seconds gap, but the cars were all in the right place on track and on the map. Keep the improvements coming as it's such a great game when it works!

i miss the days of 16 human drivers in a lobby... (without the host adding stupid AI! that always used to ruin it...)
