Thrustmaster T500 F1 issues

Recommended Posts

Can anyone help I the following couple of small issues... I've searched the forum but can't find anything.

I have to keep a controller switched on for it to work, is there anyway of using the steering wheel without having the controller on?

2nd issue being... I start a session the feedback is fine, if I pause the game at all or restart the session I have no feedback. Anyone else had this or know of this?

having the same issue with the force feedback.. sometimes it is so strong i cant get the car to turn and sometimes there is no force feedback at all -.- i am on ps4

the other issue you were talking about is just like that.. it is because the t500 has only semi support on the ps4, so you have to let a controller be on to use the wheel :)

Ah thanks for that, I'll have to make sure I keep the controller on charge whilst I'm playing....

And yeah the feedback is strange sometimes, it's annoying that pausing and resuming the  game all the feedback then disappears. When it's ok I really enjoy the game play!! I'm on ps4 as well forgot to say.

Hi Aaronaldo,

Good for me see another person with the same problem!Haha, the Force Feedback working fine but when I change my tires, the FFDB gets so soft and changing again back to so hard, now I believe this is a glitch/bug!

About the DS4, you must to start the game by the DS4 because PS4 doens't have native support on PS4 Dashboardo, but if you starts the game pressing the OPTIONS BUTTON from T500 you can turn-off you dual shock 4

P.S: Are you Brazilian?

Indeed, wish we wasn't experiencing any problem but always backs it up knowing there is more than just me. I'm from England. I will try what you said starting the game with the options button to start the game and see how I get on thanks :)

Not good!! It's annoying to drive with no feedback after pausing. When the feedback is there I love it!!

I bought an used F1 Ferrari Wheel Add-on and the ForceFeedback problem persist, if I pause and return, the game returns  with no ForceFeedback or just a little hard

I have a small solution to pausing the game, press the flashback button instead of the options button and even when cancelling and not using a flashback upon resuming no ffb is lost.

Hi Guys
I have a Thrustmaster 300, and experiencing the same issue when pausing, I don't have a solution, but is this Codemaster or Ps4 issue?

Hi, I had a small solution to this. Whilst out on track and you're wishing to pause the game pause via the flashback button. I found that when resuming or cancelling the flash back then I would still have ffb. Let me know how you get on.
