F1 2015 - CodeMasters And Bank Refunding Money

Recommended Posts

Pretty sure disc works and as described. Do you guys buy a movie and when you don't like it demand your money back?
You sir are an absolute k*%b!

I have read your over opinionated comments on other posts and decided that I should now tell you as you have done to so many others what I think.

At the end of the day, the game is heavily bugged. I have been unable to play this game online since release and two patches later. I paid for a finished game not a game that is not working as it should! It freezes mid race, crashes galore back to PS main menu. Now tell me that is acceptable and I should just accept this and wait for a patch that might never come.

I dont remember Codemasters saying in their pre-release adverts that the game would be offered with broken online features, not too mention the numerous other bugs that plague the game!

So, like the OP and many many others, we are merely offering advice to others that are affected by this games flaws and want their money back.

Its hardly like Codemasters have publicly apologised for the issues. This is a forum for F1 2015 and I and anyone else is free to share their views and thoughts without having a three eyed, six toed creature from Norwich sticking their oar in...

In other words if you don't like it, go away....

@MrSatay Dont even try to be a reasonable voice in these forums. They will keep pretending that this is the worst game ever made...

And dont mention that every other game out there comes with its own selection of bugs, they dont wanna hear it, they wanna be mad at it, simple as that...

Its today's generation of gamers...pretty sad....

What this game needs is competition. Its the only way to keep codemasters on there toes. Just like fifa and pro.

So what you are essentially saying is that it is acceptable to have games constantly released with bugs and in some cases game breaking bugs at that!

I think you'll find today's generation of gamers expect more. Let's be honest this generation of consoles aren't actually that great. Their lifespan I don't expect to last like the previous generation.

This is not the worst game ever made, but it does have some pretty terrible bugs that are more than graphical glitches, not being able to race online for some is a deal breaker, the slowdown affecting the game again a deal breaker. It's people like you that defend second rate developing standards and keep Codemasters and other devs churning out broken products.

Why then should I be reasonable? I don't buy a book and expect some of the pages to be missing because the author lacked inspiration that day.

Game development is a lot more complicated and harder to get right than writing a book though.

pls stop comparing software with physical products, it just doesnt work. I'm working in software implementation and roll-out management, and you wont believe how many different bugs i'm facing every day, even on identical hardware. We are talking about millions of lines of code...if there's just one single I or O that doesn't come out as expected by the software, the whole thing will go bananas...

If a book has missing pages its clearly the manufacturers fault, or if the pages have been left out on purpose without letting potential buyers know its false advertising. Its your godgiven right to get the product replaced or demand a refund. However, in case of software, its often nearly impossible to tell who is at fault. It could be bad code, it could be the OS, it could be the clients hardware, or even a combination of all three. I dont wanna know how many of those issues people have with F12015 are caused by bad system maintenance or just sheer ignorance on user's side.

I'm not saying its acceptable in general, but i DO know what to expect from devs and what not. I'm a race game fan from the first hour on, and i went through the whole evolution of race games (started with 1982's PolePosition) and I always ran into bugs, everytime...all kind of nasty,  gamebreaking, showstopping bugs, some have been fixed eventually, others are still existing. I learned to live with it, otherwise i wouldnt be still sane by now. But that doesnt mean i'm white flagging. Its just how it works and if you dont want to accept it, then stop buying games.

Well I bought a digital D/L from Xbox store. After trying to play the game I contacted MS and they happily gave me a refund. And I wasn't the only one to get one.

I am glad everyone is getting their refunds. It's your money and you don't deserve to settle for a game that has so many issues.  Don't let CodeMasters eat lobster on your hard earned dollar. Get your money back like so many others have.
