Pad

So, I have a problem with my pad. I am not sure if it´s my pad or the game, but I have no problems with my pad on any other game.
When I press any button that isn't steering, for example look behind me or I want to change tyres, see the weather forecast, or whatever, you get it, my car just steers completely to the right or left.
It's come to the point where I can just barely set different tyres or fuel on the straights, while trying to keep the car straight. Using any of the functions like weather forecast has become impossible because of this, causing me to go onto intermediates when it's dry 1 lap later, which is obviously annoying.
Does anybody know why this happens or how to fix it?
I´m playing on PC with an xbox 360 controller, and it happens in all gamemodes.
