just go to your control settings ingame, change to another option, like keyboard, then back to DFGT and press the button to make a custom setting.
Change what you may won't to change or leave it like it is, your huge deadzone will be gone.

Thought I'd give this game another go after the latest patch.  I'll try and say a good thing to start with.  After fixing the deadzone issue this patch introduced (which it was actually supposed to fix?!?!), I finally have my wheel feeling.... not awful (for the first time).  There.  That's the best I can do.  Now for some bad.  I did a 25% championship race, and ran out of fuel with a lap and a half to go despite it saying optimal the entire time.  Then I got an award for "Clean Club" which is "Complete a Championship Season race without colliding with another car or object".... hmmm..... I think there were about 20 instances of contact with the AI in that race!   It wasn't a total loss though, because I finally figured out how to select things from the Radio Menu.  Now I get to play a fun mini-game during races where I get to try and select something from that before it vanishes.  Oh, and the graphics are still a disaster.  Using only FXAA leaves a lot of jaggies, even at 1440p, but adding TSAA makes it all blurry again.  They fixed the motion blur?  I'm not even sure if it is motion blur.... the camera just shakes unrealistically.  If you are moving at 1mph, things are blurry, but if you stop completely, things sharpen up.... a little.  So yeah, I don't really know what was fixed.  All the weird graphics issues combined makes racing in this game nausea inducing.  Seriously.  It reminds me of using the Rift DK1.

Ah, F1 2015, still a good time :)
have you tried holding down the engineer button while selecting menus?

That makes some less that intuitive degree of sense.... will give it a try if I ever play the game again. Thank you

Just go to : My F1 and clic on Create a new save (or something like that) ...

It will start your ingame status from new and your deadzone will disapear. You will have to adjust your Wheel parameters again before playing.

It worked for me though...

Try going to your Steam directory and deleting your "appcache" folder.

Hope it works for you.

We've just set live a new patch for F1 2015 which should improve the overall stability and performance of the game across all game modes (both online and offline).
  • Fixed the issue causing a deadzone on your wheel after setting your wheel and pedals up.

We want to hear your feedback following today's patch so please post up how you feel about today's update below.
Sorry, but I gotta laugh at this one, now you have to set up your wheel and pedals to get rid of it.

Another unhappy G27 owner. Have tried most of these methods to try and get rid of the deadzone post-patch. Nothing has been successful thus far.

Motion blur and camera shaking makes the game ugly!
Are you watching gp?
Look at the onboard cameras and you will see they don't shaking like that.Just a little bit when cars are on bumps.
Maybe it's impressive for you but it's not realistic.
Even the drivers hands shakes too much when they move steering wheel in corners.

Cars are not mounted on a vibrator!
It would be nice if they put an option to have the choice.
Or just shaking little bit when the cars are on bumps

Look at this and tell me if you like the camera shaking. It's clearly too much.

Same problem when we brakes, the camera in a real onboard don't move and in the game she move.

Man, if you'd told me back in the late 90's whhen i fell in love with f1 97 on the playstation 1 that in the year 2015 they would release a game that you can barely turn the wheel due to a dead zone issue i would have said your crazy!!

The blue flags issue is a major issue. I'm suprised it wasn't fixed

This is not an issue for me. You only have to be agressive with the car in front and he will finally give ways.

I prefer this attitude than from the previous games when the car in front was almost stopping to let you by.
Even so, the other AI get's stuck behind cars that won't yield to blue flags, so you end up catching them unrealistically because they can't pass.

Same problem with double stacking in the pits, you end up taking spots that really shouldn't have been yours because the AI does a double stack pit stop for no tactical or logical reason. I like to win, but I want to deserve it.
