"hard times" trophy

I have finished two pro season races (2 laps down) and the trophy didn't pop?
Do you need to finish on the same lap as the winner (i'm no legend)...
The trophy just says "complete a race in pro season mode", always cryptic

Update on this trophy, it seems that you have to do this without doing a mid-race save!
This has to be completed by starting and finishing the race in one go, pausing is o.k and
you don't have to finish on the lead lap but you need to do it in one sitting...
Thanks for nothing CM, I had to figure this out by myself...

Now to find a hardcore online race for the Platinum... good luck with that one!
