Post-release support for the game has ended.

Recommended Posts

Codemasters have moved on from F1 2015 and are no longer supporting it which sadly means no further patches. Especially for consoles.
If you look through the history of the series there comes a point a month or so after every release where the forums fall a little silent and no one from Codemasters appears to detail future plans for the game. This is their silent tactic and it works well.
Our only hope is for a CM employee to post a response here, but the only person we have is @justbiglee and he isn't even on the F1 team, he is the DiRT rally series community manager.

I think you will see a little more than a bit of whining if that happens. I would be very surprised if even CM are that stupid.

Wasn't one of the new items with this game that the will continue to add patches depending on how the season went? Also that updates on the cars are supposed to mimic the updates in the real world?

And you really believe this will happen?  :D Wake up.
I predict one last patch for the biggest bugs but not very soon. Maybe around October. That's it.

so what if there have been patches recently? that has NO bearing on whether there will be any more. Especially any more SIGNIFICANT patches...

As for Codies keeping their promise about regular updates during the season to reflect real world changes... ARE YOU HAVING A LAUGH???!!! do you really expect them to be bothered to do this? I can imagine the excuse for not doing this in their promo interviews for next years game:

'Unfortunately due to the teething problems we had with the move to next-gen, we were unable to include the regular in-season updates for F1 2015. We are proud to announce that it will however come into effect for F1 2016.' -Lee Mather

(and then they fail that promise too ;) )
