Oscar97 26 Posted February 18 I give Codemasters 5 years before they lose their creative power and 10 before they're closed.
HDR10 155 Posted February 18 RIP F1 series. You weren't perfect, but you sure as hell were better than what you will become.

Let's remember that F1 and NASCAR (by ISI), Superbike (by Milstones) came out under the EA Sports brand and were good. Maybe things are not so bad? Nightswipe 12 Posted Tuesday at 15:44 (edited) $$$$$$$$ Codemasters invited the venomous snake into their home while shooting themselves in the already damaged foot. Edited Tuesday at 15:46 by Nightswipe

Maybe things are not so bad? ISI makes, or used to make, simulators. That's why the games were so good. And the EA that published those games isn't the same EA that publishes games today. Back then they didn't have Ultimate Team ruining every sports game
Pawel567 21 Posted Wednesday at 11:47 Remember that most of F1 2021 was made before EA took over Codemasters so it won't be too bad. It could be worse or better with F1 2022 (new engine) so we'll see
BarryB 8 Posted Wednesday at 16:10 The acquisition by EA will probably don't have big consequences for F1 2021. By the time the sale was official the game was mostly done. So we will probably see some in it by DLC later or on at the earliest in the 2022 version. However, as easy as it is to be negative about EA, they've also brought us many good games. Yes, they have their flaws, but doesn't every game has it? Let's just wait and see what it's going to bring us. The positive is that with such a big company behind them they also have much more resources.
