Key binding - D-Pad

dear @BarryBL,

I had a very simple yet useful idea for wheel users: 

It would be a great idea to separate the functionality of the D-Pad in dependence if the HUD is open or closed.
When closed you could bind the D-Pad to e.g. engine mapping (left & right) and brake balance (up & down). When the HUD is open the D-Pad should only work as directional keys to navigate.  
This would be a very handy feature especially for wheel players on consoles as there are only a few different assignable buttons.

Could you please forward this to the relevant department?
