Grid autosport on Xbox one ?

Codies is it possible that there is a chance of Grid autosport getting an Xbox one version ? If not what about adding GAS to the Xbox one. Back compact if you have the Xbox 360 version I hope you will at least at it to the Xbox one compatibility program as I mean this when I say it I have played 100s of racing game and where I mainly prefer SIM type racers in my opinion Grid autosport is up there with the best of them it has the best AI awesome selection of touring cars it's just a shame you decided to release on pc Xbox 360 and PS3. Surely the PC version could have been ported to Xbox. One or ps4 ages ago ? And I know I'm asking a lot but does codemasters have any plans to update there games to allow to be played on Xbox one this November ? It would be awesome to have the original grid and Dirt 1,2 and 3 as well. Cheers

We're looking into the backwards compatibility on Xbox One, but nothing confirmed at the moment.

I already have forza 6 and its excellent.  But I also think grid autosport is amazing one of my favourite racing games ever. Really miss playing it.

@Dnote thanks that's great to hear. With grid autosport I had bought that and its season pass on PlayStation 3 and will 100% rebuy it on xbox store if you can make it work on xbox one same with dirt 3 and all the dlc.

Please though if you can make GAS work as that is such an underated racing game and one of the best racing games ever imo.

I've downloaded Grid 2 through game with gold this month and I'm so far really enjoying it and its given me the Grid bug again (played original Grid for more hours than I can count but never bothered with Grid 2 as I didn't like the look of it, but as its free..) I was always interested in Grid Autosport but it came out at the wrong time for me with selling my 360 for an xbox one etc. Would love to play it, would happily buy it + the DLC if it were to happen.

I would recommend GAS to any Grid 1 fans. I absolutely love it. I also just got Grid 2 free from Games with Gold. In my opinion, GAS is a much better game. I'm sure there are more realistic sim racers out there, but to me, GAS was a perfect mix of sim and arcade. Grid 2 does seem too arcadey, and I just don't like the driving mechanics/physics as much as GAS. But, I still think it's a decent game, and I still find it fun. I'm playing through career right now, and I enjoy drifting around corners, but I still prefer Autosport, and it would be nice to have it on Xbox one. I paid 25$ for GAS, and the point to point tracks dlc for $6.99, and I thought it was a great deal. I still haven't bought a racing for Xbox one yet, I've been thinking about getting Forza 6 for awhile now, but I would love another Grid game, or at least Autosport on the one.

I too really miss this game, I didn't play it much either. Did it come out just before Xbox one/ps4? This maybe the reason as I tend to upgrade the console as soon as they are released. I must start keeping the old consoles so I can play my favourites.

Noticed nobody has said anything for a while, so id like to start this whole conversation up again if possible. I've been loyal to codemasters and enjoyed all the racing games out there, but by far my favourite of all is the Grid series! Especially GAS! I had all the dlc for it too. I'm kinda let down that such a brilliant game would not be on the xbox1.. I'm baffled. GAS on the xbox1 spec would be absolute perfection. Please please please codemasters stop trying to create a winning game when you already have one... GAS! Bring it to the next generation an i bet this time round sales would soar! My favorite, for the reasons I explain below (GRID 1 is unique because of this):

The "strong" in GRID 1 is the multiplayer;
WHY?

1 - There are no ghost cars in races with collisions ON
2 - You can create your own type of game and rules ("Survivor races" are very fun).
Two teams of 6 players, worth everything to prevent the other win the race, to go against the tide, making barricades, etc.
And you do not have to play the boring Demolition Derby for that, you can choose any category with high speeds.
3 - Persistence of crashed cars, car parts, etc., on the track.

I have over 12.000 (twelve thousand) 13.700 hours (completed yesterday, October 28, 2017, at 10:00 p.m.) on MULTIPLAYER of the Racedriver GRID (GRID 1)(addding the time played in all my Gamertags on the XBOX Live). I've never stopped playing his MULTIPLAYER since its launch, and I keep playing until today (XBOX 360).

I don't think you can buy grid 1 anymore because the licences ran out. Similar for Dirt 2 and F1 2013.

So the chance of getting the above on XB1 is very unlikely indeed. I suppose Grid Autosport and Grid 2 could happen though.

I'm also hoping Autosport comes to Xbox One. I like Forza and Project Cars, but I had so much more fun playing Autosport. Grid 2 was free and it's on the One, but I just don't like the driving physics in that one.

I too would love to play GAS on my XB1. I turned on my Xbox360 a couple of days ago and started playing it, as fantastic as I remembered, driving around Bathurst in a Holden V8 Supercar, awesome experience. I realised that I'm only about halfway through the game so gonna start playing again, more fun than GTS that's for sure!
Come on Codies if you can put Grid 2 on backwards compatibility then why not GAS, and whilst your at it, one of your other greatest games, Dirt 2.

Well, yes and no. Feral Interactive did the iOS port, which would have taken little or no resources away from anyone who'd have been responsible for making the Xbox 360 version run on Xbox One.

I've been waiting for this. Still my favorite racing game next to the original Grid. I played Forza 6, then Project Cars 1 and 2 on Xbox one, but Autosport is still more fun to me.
