racing line

Recommended Posts

Hello my name is Adam de Vries.
I am 17 years old I'd like a racing line so I roughly know where to brake because it is sometimes unclear.
Thank you in advance

That's what the co-driver is there for. He calls out the corners that are coming up next so you'd have a rough idea what to do. If it's a 6, you probably don't even need to brake, if it's a 4, brake a little, if it's a 1-2 or hairpin/acute/square - brake a lot. As for when exatly - that's what practice is for. Star braking early and gradually move up as you get more used to what each car can do

racing line in a rally game? seriously?
If this occur (I doubt) I bet you can not follow that line more than 30% of time. Bumps and unexpected car moves happens constantly. This is not racing on circuit, where you can copy lap after lap with barely a few milisecs difference.

Rally demands quick reactions and improvisation. Yes you can "learn" the track after passing a few times but, as I said, car will never go exactly in the same line and you will find many ways to draw turns.
