[COLLISION ISSUE] - that thing screwed my whole stage time

So today I was playing in elite championship and had a very good fight with the AI... I was 2sec behind first driver then suddently I lost control over a jump, hit that 2000 pounds orange sign made of concrete and lost nearly 20 seconds because the damn thing never wanted to leave my front bumper... had to stop the car and it completely screwed my whole stage time, very infuriating! :/
