More explanations for different modes needed to keep esp newbies motivated

Ooops! I meant Group A rather than Group B. The car I was talking about and that is most attracting to me right now is the Lancia Delta HF Integrale. Seems like it's kind of "glued" to the road, at least compared to any other car in the game.

Ah, group A is a different story :-)

I personally love the Integrale, it's a pure joy to drive. The Ford is a bit jittery in my view. The Subaru is very controllable and stable, but imho a bit boring to drive.

I can't get the hang of the Lancia, I find the brakes don't respond as the other cars in the class. The Subaru is a better choice in my opinion

Set stiffer brakes on car setup!
Yup, by default brakes in the delta are so mild but you can tighten up, resultijng in a much shorter braking distance

Good to know, I'll start fiddling with the brakes now. I only made changes in the suspension before, I'm learning slowly but steady.
