If you look around, you can see the top in time trial leaderboards are also wheels... It's as balanced as it can be, sometimes wheel have slight advantage, sometimes pad slight, in the end it's the player's skill

Yeah I don't think this is a problem at all on this game. I'm very quick with pad and no assists, but other fast wheel-users can be as fast if not faster in our races..The balance is fine.

@Helmetsquad , Locking up using a pad is not a problem for me at all, if you lock up too much, ease off on the brakes, or more important; brake in a straight line before you turn in. If you brake and turn at the same time your tires WILL lock up.

I do :) i was just making a point. Once you find that "bite" point, it's pretty manageable.
