Audio sound for next F1 2016

My biggest gripe  in this department is, that
the engine sounds (onboard and replay) are way to low
and the audio sliders do not work, in order to adjust the volume on your own.

In consequence race starts are awful, as racing in the pack the sound of the other cars drown the sound of your own car.

I'm on PS4 and have raised this several times, a gamebraking issue for me...
You are right. It's almost impossible to hear your engine on ps4. I told @Lozzy a thousand time but nothing has changed

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YVT3A91u0LQ    -this mod has the elements of what should be heard in F1 2015 game.

I don't like this at all. It sounds like a computer.. Digital sounding upshifts etc, and the whistling turbo sounds in slow corners would drive me crazy! The only thing I do like, somewhat, are the more aggressive sounding downshifts. Like I said earlier, F1 2015's Renault engines sound good on downshifts but the Mercedes engine is just too quiet. Apart from that, I much prefer F1 2015's sound to the modded video.

The mod sound in the video is overall more accurate than the game is currently, imo.  Just watch similar rl video and most would agree. Yes , there are some minor digital discrepancies in the audio, but remember, it's a mod, made by a modder at home on his PC.

The "drive you crazy" part regarding the turbo, well. that's reality of turbo /ERS.   Maybe CM could add sliders to decrease it.

I get what you're saying, and I agree that the mod sound is more 'realistic'. but to me F1 2015's is more natural and pleasant to listen to by comparison. The mod has some aspects that resemble real life F1's sound more closely, I agree with that, but because of the choppy digital character in there I'd still prefer 2015. If the next game could use some elements of that realism sound and combine the two, make it more smooth, I think it'd be even better.

I don't care about how CM record the cars, I just want my onboard t-cam view in F12015 to sound exactly like the onboard cams on the TV.

Thats not what a f1 car sounds like.Thats why it sounds different from codies when the sound on tv isn't what they really sound like.

The overhead pod cam from the tv footage is EXACTLY what we hear when watching tv, correct? So, THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT IT SOUNDS LIKE!! Just like the link to the Youtube video, that's how it sounds and we would expect it to sound, that's what we expect to hear, that's what we need, that's what the vibe is, that's how anyone would expect to hear such grunt and pumped engine prowess with thunderstruck AC/DC pump up&down through the gears too.
So, when we go into overhead pod cam view in the game, then it needs to replicate that same sound we hear from tv (as in the Youtube video), not because it just sounds cool, but BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT IT SOUNDS LIKE, and that's what we all know is the real deal! That tv sound gives us nice grunt and realistic pitched whirring, and when the gear changes, the tone is just sublime, pure racing adrenaline and vibe of real F1 cars on the track, and it sets the atmosphere and sounds awesome. And look at the overhead perspective, the realistic appearance of the field-of-view, the tv footage just looks fu_king brilliant! Codies gives excuses, that's all i've ever heard from them, and still all these years later same old merry-go-round problems. I swear Codies is either the most negligent lazy team on the planet, or they're just downright incompetent beyond belief.

And IT IS NOT TRICKY TO CAPTURE THE ENGINE-SOUND, all Codies need to do is pin a high-class microphone to the pod cam with a wind-filter and send the F1 car around the track... BAAM! Done!
