fell in love and bought a wheel

Recommended Posts

I saw this game on steam, read the reviews.  purchased.  Reading the forums and seeing how everyone was praising the game so much made me want to go even further and buy a wheel.  Being the hurry go go go person I am I didn't want to wait and order one.  I just went to best buy and bought the only one they had.. that being the logitech G920 wheel.  It has been a disaster, reading forums on the logitech website and here the wheel simply isnt supported by the game.  Now I did run across a thread to get it to work but I don't think its working as intended.  So for now, the only PC title that supports this wheel is Project Cars.  I pretty much have to go play that until this game supports this over priced wheel I bought.  Anyone know when they will officially add this wheel to the game?  If at all?  Thanks for reading

My T300RS is supported, so I haven't fiddled around that much, but I think you should be able to set up your own custom wheel fairly easy.

Thank you I will do this when I get home.  I know I probably sound petty but do you think the presets will be added later?

920 is pretty much the same wheel as the G29, but for xbone? In that case it'll most probably get a preset in the near future. Think G29 will be supported from next patch. If not, just bug @KickUp about it since they probably can copy-paste the G29 presets for the G920.

I would also like to throw in, the official twitter announced it would

"We're pleased to announce that DiRT Rally will support @LogitechG's new range of wheels http://blog.logitech.com/2015/06/11/driving-force-racing-wheels/ …"

That was back in June though, can anyone confirm this is still something that is going to happen?

Last official word was this sept. 12th:

For those of you asking about names on windows... We've looked into it but there are limitations in the system that mean we aren't going to be able to do it this time. We'll factor it in going forwards.

With regards to the G29. The ones we had in the studio worked fine with the older Logitech drivers (when it thought it was a G27) the latest drivers have been causing issues so we are not officially supporting them yet. We will get round to it (especially as I plan to get one soon)

So hopefully this patch, might be next.

Correct, it should roll out with the soon to be Modern masters, or in a month or so with the Winter Wonderland.

Hopefully its patched sooner rather than later for you.  No doubt you'll have a blast when its setup and running!

@RYANJAY try downloading Logitech profiler 5.10 instead of Logitech gaming software, it should detect it as g27 and start working until the G29 is fully supported

This won't work.

Have you uninstalled Logitech Gaming Software? Try uninstalling it, maybe it helps  ;)
