I think both the black ones and the stroke ones are AMD driver related. The one with the trees is something to do with them being semi transparent. There have been problems with semi transparent objects on AMD cards before
That would explain a lot, if it weren't for the fact I'm running a GTX670 aka nVidia card :p
hmm, so it is a Dirt thing after all... :| In release notes for the last few AMD drivers there were mentions, that they might cause some texture corruptions in Dirt. I assumed, the black ones were it. Also, since you're on Nvidia, have you sometimes gotten transparent textures? The black ones seem to be universal, but maybe the transparent ones are AMD specific? Most ofthen those happen on Pikes Peak, and you can see through the map in some places, they look like holes, but luckily you don't fall through :D
the AMD 15.9.1 Beta has no texture problem 15.10 beta is no good

I am ( and a few other users on the steam forums) are getting what appears to be a memory leak.  And because of said leak, it has made the game unplayable.

The cursor not dissapear automatically when stage starts, at least to me
It disappears after a few seconds of no mouse input, not because a stage has started.
If any mouse input is detected, it won't vanish. After it's gone, any movement of the mouse will make it re-appear.
If mouse sensitivity is set really high, and/or there is a hair/dust near the sensor, it's possible it won't disappear.
Simplest thing to do is disconnect the mouse and see if the cursor goes.
If the cursor stays, problem is with the game
If it goes, problem is with the mouse.
Thanks @BrySkye , i thought that when the stage started the cursor dissapears, in the last version was also the same?

Mine is not strictly a Moder Masters bug, but an old bug that got worse with Modern Masters. And an asset glitch.

When I try to drive the Fiat Abarth, it used to not display the car (everything worked, the car was just invisible). I'd hoped you had fixed it with this update, but now everytime I try to drive (anything) with the Fiat Abarth, the sound hitches, my graphics card runs at 100% for a second while the screen stays black, and it crashes out of the game. This happens after the initial stage load, when you press a button to continue (to start the stage).

And also, in a couple of the Greece stages I've seen missing ground assets (either the material rendered totally transparent, or the geometry is missing, can't tell, obviously). Unfortunately I haven't seen it since (so I can't replicate it) but I believe it was with the Lancer X, but don't know which stage it was.

England? As a Japanese manufacturer, Mitsubishi developes right-hand drive cars too because of  left side traffic in Japan.. Same in Australia, Cyprus and yes England
It even has a Japanese plate. As an unabashed JDM-ophile, I love it. I won't go so far as to ask for a livery with a Wakaba sign on it (though I could use it).

Vermont plate on the WRX is equally appropriate.

No, in the last version the cursor was always visible (though you could move it off-screen by putting it in the bottom right corner)

the new options for shifting mode don't work.
when I select "H-Shifter + Clutch OR Sequential" all the cars still use the H-Shifter and hitting gear up or gear down doesn't do anything.

Also the Group B Audi is missing it's front and center diff, it only has rear diff now.

The lengths for the Finnish stages are identical to the Welsh stages. Not sure if that's an error or amazing coincidence. @KickUp said in a previous Dirt Show that Finland's stages are longer than the other locations, so I'm thinking Finland is incorrect. (Altitude info seems fine.)

  • Route 1 is labelled in both (Kontinjärvi/Hämelahti & Sweet Lamb/Geufron Forest) as 10,000 m;
  • Route 2 (Kakaristo/Pitkäjärvi & River Severn Valley/Bronfelen) as 10,100 m;
  • First half of Route 1 (Kailajärvi/Paskuri & Pant Mawr/Pant Mawr Reverse) as 4,900 m;
  • Everything else as 5,000 m.

i repeat it :  cars are to light, it's like driving an bmw isetta

group A cars was so good, especially subaru1995,   that was a true weight of a car and you was able to feel it un jumps and turns

with the new cars ALSO THE SAT IS  LESS STRONG because of their reduced weight.       sorry,but that's not the way it should be  s

Same here, only the two new 2000s cars (Focus 07 and C4) revert to sequential transmission, all the rest (Kit cars, Focus 01, Impreza 01 and the 2010s cars) still use H pattern.

"Animal protection services have been on the phone so we’ve had to move the wildlife on some stages to safety."
Is that a joke? I found it realley useful to see some animals sometimes. To remember, that we are not alone on the road. Please let the rabbits run!

codemasters patchnotes are known to sometimes have a little humoristic approach.
i assume you must be german...

PS: there are still animals in the game, but you won't be able to hit them so easily.

They'll be revisiting the FFB once all cars have V2 handling. Have a bit of patience, those things take time.

impreza 1995is about 1200kg------- before the update it was fantastic, you felt the weight of cars in jumps and corners

the new impreza hatchback is the heaviest car (1350kg!!!!) and i  floats around like a boat!!!!

v2 handling's weight of the cars is shit, sorry but someone must say it.    not happy with it

Yes, Mitsubishi's Japanese, I know. And also in Spain, France, Germany, Italia..etc, etc drive on the right. I only wonder if also the version with the steering wheel on the left is posible.
No, I can't see that happening.
The Subaru Impreza also in Japanese because they do not put the steering wheel on the left ..?
It is easier, Ctrl + c Dirt 3 Ctrl + v  Dirt Rally. : /a small joke for codi

Nearby - I'm norwegian. I would NEVER hit a rabbit on road (because I drive a Twizy). Fine they are still in the game.

The distances must be wrong. F.E. Kailajärvi is 7,55 km long and not 5,0. Sweet Lambs 11,4 and not 10.0. You find the right lengths if you follow your driven kms in your profil.

That was aimed more towards the "not getting the humor", than to the "hurting animals" thing.
Just to clear that up ;)

I'm aware that you've made changes that were supposed to activate the mouse only when it's moved. I'm not sure what was the reason as previously it did worked just fine (at least for me).

Currently it's a little bit annoying - every new stage when I'm a little bit too powerful with the wheel the cursor is appearing in the middle of the screen (I'm quite sure I'm simply moving my mouse a little with the shake cause I have a wheel mounted to the same desk) so as you can imagine I have to move the mouse to either an edge or second monitor (that I don't use to play) while running a stage because it's a little bit distracting to have an orange cursor in the middle of the windshield ;) (considering my pretty small display).

Is there a chance for either an option to completely disable the mouse or some simple fix so it won't be activated when there's stage running but only in the pause menu? :)

Move it all the way to the bottom right. Unless you're moving the mouse by a fair bit, the cursor will remain off-screen even if it is triggered to reappear.
The main reason mouse support was added was because wheel users wanted it to help with the menus. =P

I'll test that and be back with a feedback but I've had a feeling all yesterday's evening - that it's always reseted to the middle of the screen.
