I understand . But in this case better not to have to do a kludge. THE Imprezza and Evo X models are Dirt 3, are not new models.

So would you rather not have the Subaru because of the extra wing? Here's an idea; if you don't like it, don't use it - it's not like a circuit racer where you'll always be racing against it (sodding 4 door Hydrogen Aston Martin in PCARS GT4 class..... grrrr) so you'll never have to see it. Personally I'm loving the Evo X anyway so no problem here!

and btw: Im also not having any issues with the RHD layout with the awesome Evo X , as Im simply loving to drive in central positioned engine bonnet cam :p

The class should've been named "Open" instead of "R4", this would solve all the complaints here lol
BTW, anyone here noticed that the R4s are too fast? it's only 1 or 2s slower than the WRC cars, and they have 20HP more than they should

You bought something that had a lot less in it, and now you complain you're getting FREE stuff. Just because they re-used the source files from DiRT 3 doesn't mean the car isn't new. It makes a lot more sense to use something that you already made, rather than creating the same thing from scratch.

They couldn't get the license for the R4 Impreza hatchback, so they went for the second best thing. Have some respect for the developer, since they are working their assess off with limited resources to bring you a game that is worth way more than whatever you paid for it.

Hello everbody! When I saw Modern Master update I was very excited.But today I am a big disapointment.I was wainting DS3, Polo, New Fiesta, İ20 WRC ,New R5 class maybe R2-R3 class.Only reason of  my expectation that screenshot( Periodic Table of  DİRT). This Screenshot is from AMD's youtube channel.

No one outside of Codies, no.
Even they might not be 100% sure, since a lot about the games future is still to be decided.

Codies did make it very clear early on though that the periodic table was just a wish list.
You'll also see the Toyota Celica on that list, but that was ruled out back in June due to licensing problems.

I cant believe the ammount (huge) of complaints I read on this thread. I cant understand you guys, sorry.

Not much cars? 4 cars on a "free" single update is not much? (Its a 75% of the total car package of Richard Burns Rally)

You complaint about people opening pools with dumb ideas/questions and now you complaint for a stupid spoiler? and that represent a scam? please! I cant agree with that. No way.

"Modern" refers to an era. If you were especting cars from 2014/2015 you may be wrong because those are from "actual" time being. Just my opinion. And "Master", I guess, is because those are the top cars of their classes/age.
Not to mention, this is not Gran Turismo. We will not have the whole historic catalog of cars.

And again fu***** WRC license... seriously, do you prefer a rally game confined to a single rally discipline?
What can contribute official liveries, official cars? Can it make the game better? (Ask WRC 5 guys...)
Dont get me wrong, I love WRC: its cars, its drivers... but I dont need another rally game with it.

The beauty of Dirt Rally is precisely the opposite, the blend of many Rally car classes with its clear differences. In a generic way. I would introduce more weird rallying disciplines that are far distant from WRC. This is why I always loved Dirt series: variety. Its like may racing games in 1.

Perfect Rally game was not created yet because its simply impossible;
but you know, over the many titles of rally games you can buy actually, Dirt Rally is the best option.

Some just don't want to accept that there will be a stale month, where the amount of content added will be a lot less than previously. Even Paul mentioned on the show that if they wouldn't be making V2 physics, we would already most likely have a lot better damage system (no more baloon tires, yay). That could easily mean more cars and a lot other stuff included in as well.
Instead we have a game that focuses (see what I did there?) more on quality than quantity, which is what I personally prefer.

In short, Codies, don't listen to those whiners, you're doing an outstanding job here with this game. Licensing is just a *****

Well, that's your legitimate opinion man, but considering Dirt Rally started as a simulation in contrast to former Dirt titles, I think for most buyers of Dirt Rally the physics are more important than the damage, including me.

Although I would really welcome better damage ! as long as it isn't on the cost of something more important.

Well... I prefer better physics. Now we got mechanical damage so, that's some progress. The v2 physics is the best important feature of this game since the start of the "early access" IMHO, so i'm really happy. Like @Dytut say, the group B are really awesome, and you need to think before accelerate.
