For me it would be New Zealand, Safari and Canada (in winter as a 2nd snow rally). Then again manufacturers only allow up to 14 rallies sadly :/
FMaiso99 48 Posted March 24, 2018 14 rallies is a huuuge amount of rallies, drivers don't have any spare time, with PET, recce and rally, and then the costs, I think 14 rallies is enough, I'd rotate events for example Mexico and Chile, New Zealand and Australia, and then a random location, one year Japan another China another Jordania, so rookie drivers don't have the disadvantage of going through the stages for the first time against a lot of runs of the most experienced guys

DiRTKiNG808 15 Posted March 29, 2018 HOLY ****! I'm glad that he is okay. Props to the guys who built that car, glad that they are so safe now. It really lets the drivers go all out.
DiRTKiNG808 15 Posted March 29, 2018 For the other rally's I think it would be awesome to max out the calendar and then swap rally's every year. I would think something like this.Monte CarloSweden - CanadaMexicoCorseArgentina - ChiliPortugalItalyKenya - JapanFinlandGermanyTurkey - PolandWalesSpainAustralia - New Zealand

DiRTKiNG808 15 Posted March 30, 2018 Ya, I guess so. They could switch between Chili and Mexico then.

carpa 303 Posted April 6, 2018 https://twitter.com/OfficialWRC/status/982191944532045825?s=20Well... looks like Loeb found another ditch to get stuck into after the one in the Dakar. I was hoping to see him battle with Ogier this rally :/ , hopefully in Spain
ShouldBeThere 0 Posted April 6, 2018 Where is Sordo's pace? Don't Hyundai chiefly employ him for tarmac events such as this? Neuville's been saying the car is handling horribly, is it just that bad?

You know, I'm not the only rally fan in my house and I was discussing just that at dinner tonight. I think that drivers who don't do a program of, at least, enough rounds to mathematically secure the championship (assuming the same drivers always finish 1st and 2nd respectively), shouldn't be aloud to score points for said championship. They'll still be able to collect the prize for winning the event but points will only be distributed to drivers who are signed up for enough rounds and are actually commited to the title chase.EDIT: Did the math, to be allowed to score points, you should commit to at least 75% of the championship. That's how I believe it should be.

Well with the pace he has, he could have stolen points from Ogier himself... shame he's out. I totally see your point but from what I've seen in the WRC it's quite normal to have different people drive the cars during the course of the season and it usually isn't a big deal, it's just that Seb is too good to do just three rallies :D
DiRTKiNG808 15 Posted April 8, 2018 I really wanted to see Seb vs Seb but, oh well. Ogier is putting in an incredible drive in that Ford. He is not even pushing 100% the other guys just can not keep up!

True, if Loeb won every rally he was in, it would have pushed Ogier and Neuville closer together in the standings. Win it or bin it, Loeb!
DiRTKiNG808 15 Posted April 10, 2018 I just finished watching the last stage. I can’t stop smiling at the fact that Evans always looks so scared when he is driving. I thought Evans did good for a new co-driver. I hope he picks up the pace in the coming rallies though, to aid Ogier in the manufactures fight.
Dytut 91 Posted April 10, 2018 Hope the frustration doesn't turn into a problem for Neuville. He looks extremely frustrated not being able to keep pace with Ogier.Tänak does look strongen and stronger, kind of like Neuville did last year. Wonder if he'll be the strongest contender to Ogier at the end of the season. But from how fast the Fiesta is now and how Ogier drives it looks to be extremely hard to challenge him for the title this year.Looks hopeful that Lappi can be a real title contender next year when he has some more experience, he's starting to have some impressive speed at most rallies now. Still a bunch or rookie mistakes here and there for now.
DiRTKiNG808 15 Posted April 19, 2018 Ken Block is making an appearance in Spain driving a Fiesta. It will be really cool to see him driving the new generation of cars. I can’t wait!
Dytut 91 Posted April 23, 2018 So C3 with new rear axle. I'm calling Breen taking the win in Argentina. He'll be so bloody hungry to drive now.
