I see, I have it on series link on my recorder and have already had to reset it due to a schedule change for the highlight coverage of Mexico. Now this thread is here I'll keep an eye on it.

WHAT’S BEHIND THE WRC’S NEW 2022 REGULATIONS?

Earlier this month, the FIA World Motor Sport Council gave the green light to technical rules for the WRC’s exciting new environmentally-friendly rally cars which will be introduced in 2022. Here we examine what we can look forward to in the new-era.

"Rally1 cars" Errfh, what's wrong with World Rally Car? The latter sounds better to me.

And sound...I hope they keep the sound, hybrids ruined F1 for me already.

One little snippet, Ford considering basing the next car off the Puma instead of the Fiesta.

I just looked up what the modern Ford Puma looks like... :classic_unsure:

Errfgh...An ugly SUV in Rally? Please not.

It not seems to be much bigger than the Fiesta.

This is the only direct compare photo i can find.

Just I get a kinda C3 deja-vu about the shape.

If I look at the complete current line-up from Ford, wich is quite shocking to me, there are only two options: Fiesta or Focus.
Everything else is ugly or doesn't make sense to me.

I have to say, the Fiesta is the best looking car in the line up for me. Except Mustang and GT, but these cars are obviously too big for rally.

WRC Turkey was this weekend, looked like a real car killer 😉

Red Bull TV has highlights of each day up if you're after those, and here's a shakedown clip:

Ss9 turkey, wheeling death.

That Stage was nuts.

I got real Greece vibes from it, hard to tell which location would be rougher on a car.

Thanks for posting about Turkey,

It's on ITV4 tonight at 21:00. If the freeview channels would stop re-jigging I'd set a series link!

The Red Bull TV highlights were better this time than pre-lockdown.

20 minute show on Saturday, same on Sunday, but at least half of that was a no-nonsense run through the Stages with some clips of the WRC+ commentary for the dramatic live moments.

Speaking of, their 45 minute show is up now: https://www.redbull.com/int-en/live/wrc-2020-rally-rewind-turkey

I like to binge watch whole seasons over winter. Shouldn't be that hard to do this time round. I get a bad back if I sit in my computer chair for too long. That said though, I watch the live stream from Santa Pod for hours! (Can't watch that anywhere else though!)
