KingOfCoins 286 Posted July 31, 2016 Congrats to Kris Meeke for that briliant drive which made him the first brit to win rally finland. But I'm actually a bit more happy for Craig Breen who got his first podium

I'm also delighted with Neuville's strong performance once again. Leaving his teammate Paddon, who also drove on the limit, behind him. It's fun to watch the battles for the top spots. It's been a bit dull over the years but now they are all on the limit to get those precious seconds! WRC magic is back and it's worth watching again! I was anxiously watching the Power Stage hoping Neuville would top Paddon's time. I haven't had that feeling for over 5 years until this season. I'm a happy camper! gheeD 15 Posted July 31, 2016 https://youtu.be/KSEoBhQ7SxQ One nice clip from Ouninpohja 2. Got lost on the way to parking area, ended up on one of the gravel roads leading right up to ouninpohja and from there stumbled to this great viewing spot! Next year gotta do some good research and find even better spots B)
FloatingGrass 0 Posted July 31, 2016 I began to grin like an idiot when I saw Breen crying tears of joy at the end. I love that guy!
d1ea 0 Posted July 31, 2016 Was really nice work from the Finnish police to help drivers to get next stage on time when the roads where totally jammed.https://www.instagram.com/p/BIgFI0ph1wsYUnzbMzvlHetmDZhOoiba37wr200/?taken-by=d1ea
tbtstt 2,405 Posted August 1, 2016 Was absolutely glued to the app over the weekend! Fantastic result for Meeke and Breen. Felt bad for Tanak as he seems to have really upped his pace. It's great to finally see someone in a factory seat proving that the Fiesta is a capable car. Great clip @gheeD! What's it like for spectators? Are you restricted as to where you can stand, or can you go wherever you want?

tbtstt 2,405 Posted August 3, 2016 First look at the 2017 specification Fiesta:http://www.m-sport.co.uk/m-sport-news/fiesta-rs-wrc/the-next-stage-2017-fiesta-takes-to-the-gravelI'm still torn between the Polo and the Fiesta as the best looking car of the current generation, so I'm keen to see what the car will look like with the 2017 panels on it. FMaiso99 48 Posted August 3, 2016 https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1187700191273031&id=106632069379854 , I think that M-Sport 2017 drivers might be in another Team nowadays because I cant understand Malcolm testing it and not Ostberg or Camilli, maybe he just want to have a ride, Camilli I think he will have a seat and maybe Thierry or a WRC2 Top driver
FMaiso99 48 Posted August 3, 2016 It is also rumoured that Evans has signed for a Team in 2017 and not M-Sport, and M-Sport will not back his las round of WRC2 and lose all the chances of being the Champion.
gheeD 15 Posted August 3, 2016 i dunno, the news post says wilson has always been keen to test new cars himself first, and martin prokop continued testing after him (which is indeed interesting that its a privateer and not msport drivers.)i think this fall will be interesting times to follow the rumours around these new cars and driver changes. FMaiso99 48 Posted August 3, 2016 Also I checked the tyres for some gossip and they arent Michelin, so maybe in 2017 the Manufacturer M-Sport will use DMack with Ott and other driver

juu1ius 5 Posted August 4, 2016 Toyota & Tommi are talking with Tänak, Evans and WRC2 front runners."I can tell you the names: there is Elfyn, there's Ott Tanak, Esapekka Lappi, Teemu Suninen and the young comer is Pontus Tidemand," said Makinen http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/125608/toyota-closing-on-2017-driver-lineup?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

He put the car in a ditch in a quite silly way and took him 6 minutes or so to get it out. gheeD 15 Posted August 5, 2016 I somehow have a hunch its gonna be Hänninen and Lappi. But I think Lappi could easily switch to Suninen, Rally Deutschland is pretty decisive for the 2 young finns I think. Lappi has shown he's fast on gravel and Finland especially, but wrc2 season hasn't been that easy for him.
