It's just a thing that I've heard - maybe it was actually like you say - they've positioned themselves properly but some idiots joined them and because there was a lot of Estonian flags that's why one could assume they all are. No worries mate! I've seen enough complete retards on local rallies to know that we may have had plenty to do with the stage cancellation  You think people would learn from what happened on the opening stage of the Monte Carlo this year. Dytut
Just as speculation, what do you think Citroën will do if they don't get things in order for the end of the season? They seem to focus on making the car easier to drive now, which I think is the right way to go, and if they get some good results for the end of the season I'd wager they'd just be content with forgetting 2017 happened and focus on winning 2018. But if that doesn't happen? Limited rallies in 2018 while redeveloping a new version of the car, or rushing a new version during the year? Will they keep their driver lineup? Breen is the only driver at Citroën that has really done his job this year. Meeke has been fast, but with him being the main development driver and the car being as unpredictable as it is I wouldn't be surprised if he gets the boot. Mikkelsen might stay if he feels Citroën gets their act together, but M-Sport (if Ogier leaves or to replace Evans) and Toyota (replace Hänninen) would both be quite happy to get him. Thats some nice stuff your cooking up ;). I would love to see Ogier and Neuville as team mates at M-Sport. I know that won't happen but I do think that Citroën will keep Meeke. It would be unwise to boot Meeke sense he is the only one to win with the car. Now I would not be suprised if Toyota took on Mikkelsen to replace Hänninen. Mikkelsen just seems to be more of a driver that gets the results in. M-Sport I think will stay the same and so will Hyundai.
juu1ius
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-nTZyQngYM - the complexity of the aero still amazes me, thous black plastic tunnels came under the hood and are used for front downforce, they removed it to make the car balanced. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyguJ--eT3c&feature=youtu.be - great example of the safety issues. Red tape is no go zone and it's tugged out to maximum and safety standing nearby. :/

But you are one of the causes rally is set as a too dangerous sport. And the reason a great rally like rally Poland could be removed from the calendar next year. It are these people who mostly die or get injured from crashes but we all know that some news sources ignore this. Saying rally is dangerous and should be banned. Although if these "fans" would have been in the correct location behind the tape everything would have gone right and we happily go rallying. Sorry for my little rant. Some of the upgrades will need several months of development work and they won’t be ready to be introduced until the start of next season. I was out on a rally yesterday as service crew, but as the service areas were right at the stage ends and we had a bit of time on our hands between stages I walked in a little way to watch. Think it's my first time spectating since rally gb 2015. It reminded me how I can never understand why people want to get that close to cars, especially on the same level as the stage. The only time I will be that close to a car is if I'm on a bank well above the stage on the inside of the corner. People are very stupid to risk their lives over little things like an adrenaline rush
Dytut
More on Citroën:https://www.motorsport.com/wrc/news/citroen-2017-season-written-off-929629/Sure hope they get the car in order for 2018. If they were to retain Mikkelsen for the '18 season and get the car in order then a Meeke/Mikkelsen/Breen lineup would be quite nice for them. gheeD
Oh my god. The 2017 wrc car(s) are mental! what a great day today at Autoglym rally. Neuville and Veiby definitely showed why they are pro drivers. and Hirvonen with his escort, really having a lot of fun  (=sideways) edit:Toni was at same spot as me around this timestamp: https://youtu.be/I7NGIY4-qHk?t=

Dytut
https://www.motorsport.com/wrc/news/ogier-escapes-injury-after-hitting-tree-in-finland-test-shunt-933100/Everyone can have an unlucky day, but this also shows that Ogier is trying to find the limits of the car. I suspect we're in for a helluva fierce competition in Finland. All the Finns will go for it, it's in their nature. Paddon will floor it. Breen's gonna try to repeat last years success. Tänak wants another win badly. Meeke will probably win or (most likely) crash out.Only drivers I can see holding back a bit are Mikkelsen and (maybe) Sordo. And in the middle of all this, Neuville and Ogier will fight for the championshit points :-D

RallyDriven
Finland will definitely be interesting, I feel like everyone will want to go for it. In the build ups Neuville has competed on and won a national Finnish rally, whilst Ogier has had a high speed accident. Wonder what, if any affect that will have on the result? Can't see meeke pushing too hard, he can't afford to write off another C3, and Citroen are probably running out of spares. At least they are good at fixing them by now! juu1ius
Oliver is leading in his class. Kalle leads the the rally over 30s. Truth be told he doesn't have real competition here. Maybe it will be more interesting in South - Estonian rally in the end of the august.

Dytut
Yeah I just saw that. But read the article here: http://media.groupe-psa.com/en/s%C3%A9bastien-loeb-showcases-his-unique-talent-all-groupe-psa-brands?linkId=40208150And if I understand that correctly he will just take the C3 for testing on tarmac for feedback. Would be fun if he came back and contested a rally or two though.
Dytut
https://www.motorsport.com/wrc/news/wrc-meeke-citroen-speaks-out-934841/So Meeke speaks out in quite negatively about Citroën. Dytut
And apparently it's on already. All of them seem to push on shakedown, and apparently Ogier got the best time but it was revoked due to him cutting a chicane or something similar. https://twitter.com/eWRCresults/status/890483687082557440The fight between Ogier and Neuville will be on for real now. This will be epic :-D
