Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu...

I forgot to do Germany :(
Ah, that explains why i was top 4 instead of top 5! YOU MADE ME LOOK GOOD, WHYYY? D:

Anyway - Wales done, i ran out of attention span during the 7th stage, having a STUPID spin in 1st split, then fell off the road like a drunkard in the last split. I should stop doing whole leagues in a single run.

@OzoreXS it looks like That minute is pretty much stage 3 and 8, otherwise we did pretty similar times

Yeah, I know, but haven't been at the Comp all weekend anyway... but thanks for adding me

But, holy #¤%&***# I'm bad in the Metro. Haven't had a run in it since V2, and I'm really messing it up today. Think I made a new WR on most time used on Bronfelen, with over 10 and half minutes

Anyways, can only get better, I hope....

I'm doing a driver update.  Every time things pick up pace it looks like my whole display is vibrating!?

Idk what happened to Procver on the last stage but I had a spin and a puncture and thought all was lost, somehow ended the stage .5 ahead to beat you by .4 overall... Good race man. Now we just need pork to show us the theoretically possible times.

Wow, by less than half a second!! I made more mistakes on stages 3, 7 and 8. I think I had a few barrel rolls on the last one
Great racing, but 2nd place isn't yours yet! lol

Yea doesn't get much closer than that. I can't get a good feeling with that car and I suspect it will be even worse in monte so def not over yet.

Actually think rallycameraman might be about to school us both.

Welllllll, that's me done...
I decided to use much less rotation & the bonnet cam instead (knew it'd be more competitive that way), quite good fun if a little different to what I'm normally used to!  Kept in neat & tidy where possible, I'm crap in the dark (lamp pods in the bonnet cam really make the steering feel weird to me), & ended up on my side in Sweet Lamb!! lol

Some amount of time swapping going on, makes the craic better!

In trying to remedy the intermittent stutter, I've actually got the game running nearly double the FPS, by maxing the quality settings in Nvidia CP and then turning them back down again in-game??

Settings in nVidia control panel are not reflective of the in-game settings. They can override some things (anisotropic filtering, ambient occlusion or anti-aliasing) but they won't impact any of the in-game settings. They are after all driver settings. Unless you know 100% what you're doing, it's best to leave it at "Use 3D applications settings" or something along those lines.
To help with the stutter I advise to lock the framerate to 62FPS (or 60FPS if using nVidia Inspector). Stuttering usually occurs when VRAM of the GPU is overflood and needs to use normal RAM to due with the increase in data, which higher FPS can effectively worsen that. Running at 99% load can also create stuttering. Generally speaking locking the framerate to your monitors refresh rate is always a good idea.

Did six of the eight stages, but I need a small break before tackling the last two. My left heel is on fire from all the clutching.

Yeah, Kev, dont enforce anything through driver, those are all best left on Auto or Use Application settings.
Stutter? Forgot the name for the Nvidia setting, but something about pre-rendered frames in the driver settings is a quick fix. The other one is probably that threading fix that was in the forum - Stutter can have many causes. I remember fixing DiRT 2 stutter by changing my HARD DRIVE, believe it or not. Damn replay system.

There also might be a somewhat trippy setting enabling in the game itself, maybe, there are some certain no-no's when it comes to gaining FPS.
