Major Hobble is my username. :) Quite fitting, I usually end up hobbling around the stages on 3 tyres. :p

Added. I'll set up a season for a try, will consist of an... interesting I hope car and tracks choice.

Please do bring in suggestions, feedback etc. That way I can adjust the car selection, stages, settings and what not to make it more interesting AND accessible to everyone who's interested ;)
Cheers, fella! Hopefully loads more people will get on board. I'll have a go as soon as I get the chance.

Season is configured, will start in 3 hours and 5 minutes from the moment I posted this. Each event will be up for 48 hours, taking together 8 days in total. We'll see how it goes from there.

Forgot to mention that there are no restarts and service stations are set normally, aka every second stage. At least I hope I configured it properly xD

I'm sitting at the countdown waiting for the league to open :D

First car due in 40 seconds!
So... how does the car selection looks? Good enough, interesting, boring, too easy, meh?

Oh wow that was a pretty fast evolution from only an idea to the league being set up^^

So to further elaborate on the mentioned format that I prefer:
I would like a season to be set up for a specific car class and then go through all the rallies in seperate events, I personally don't like it when there is a mix of everything in a single season. My preference is to make things as close to reality as the game allows, so I would also be in favor of less service areas.
Yes I know I am very pretentious but there is another thing (; I don't drive 60s cars and I only drive v2 cars.

I also think that we should agree to some gentlemen's rules: no alt+f4 and no hotlaping practice of the stages to the next service area.

I'll join the league and see how it goes, but 2 day events are quite short so I might miss out on some, 3-5 days would be ideal for me personally, but losing some points is something I'll be willing to live with if people want more frequent racing (;

I love the 6r4, and I love Greece :D so it suits me! It turns out, however, that I haven't done much with the 6r4 outside of custom rallies, so I'm spending time upgrading the car from 1/5 to 5/5 as quickly as possible! :]

The length can be easily adjusted. Right now it's 48 hours to do 8 stages. If that won't be enough time, we can expand it to 72 or 96 hours along with maybe increasing it to 12 stages per event. I went with 8 now since 12 with the stages we have gets really repetitive really quickly. With 4 stages "missing" I can rotate their appearance making each new Season feel more "fresh". At least that's the concept, we'll see how it works in practice.

I agree 100% with the no alt+f4 rule, though practising the stages is a personal decision. Some may want to be competitive or simply remind themselves of how the car handles etc. Shakedowns are a bit too short for that tbh. I won't be doing it but if someone will, I won't hold against them. ALT+F4 though will result in me throwing a Nokia 3310 at their house xD

Ahh, so you went for the "easy" way. I'll be going for the suicidal option xD

72 hours for 8 stages would be preferable imho.

Also agree that it should be one car class per season, going through every rally. Service stage at stage 4 only if it's 8 stages maybe? should promote a bit more careful driving.

I agree 100%

What I meant by "hotlaping" the stages is that you can save&exit whenever you are in a service area, so if we stay with 1 service every 2 stages you could just practice those 2 and then practice the next 2 and so on.
It should be allowed for drivers to warm up before they start the rally though, I do that myself, but once I start the rally I'll finish it.

Yeah, 72 hours will most likely be the perfect spot. Service stage IRL is every 2 stages afaik, and if I would be to include Finland, most of us even while driving careful would have issues finishing xD

As to one car class, agreed. I went here with Metro as well since it's also Group B and someone with huge cohones and mad driving skills will be faster in the 037. Car choice is more interesting then. I'll also will be trying to avoid the OP cars within classes, like "the pug" since there's no point allowing entire class while most will go for the fastest option.

I did get that ;) My opinion still stands, though if someone will be doing that and won't admit to it, it's going to sit on their conscience then.

Actually, due to Physics version mismatch (Metro is V2, the RWDs are 1.5) the Metro is the fastest car of the three by a wide margin in my hands.

@OzoreXS has found another problem, for me and @Evilsmurf at least...

Again, as said on last Dirt Show and some Road Book, the league system will be changed.

The cars will be fully upgraded for everyone and we are not paying engineers anymore.

Its supposed this change will come with v1.0, Winter Wonderland.
We're both testing the v1.0 update at the moment

So my time is in.

MG Metro with Zero upgrades
And quite a serious accident on stage 5, acompanied by two mistakes on stage 8.
Dirving without driving assists.

Well, lets see how that compares...

Well, always remember you're running with a keyboard, while the 037 especially is basically impossible to be fast with it. You need analogue throttle and steering. Then again I notice you posted the time with the Manta and are currently leading.

In any case, time to wear the brave pants and go for a dance with Lancia. Trees, here I come xD

PS. I really don't mind paying the engineers, got over 9 mil IGC and 1000 stages on their contracts xD

Yeah, because Manta has an AMD Livery, only reason i did that :D But, i did check my top speed when doing a single comparison run with each on Ourea Spevsi (lost 5 seconds with the 037) and it seemed to be a somewhat slower accelerating car, and the corners are somewhat poop, especially hairpins that love 4WD. We'll see how you do with the Lancia 037.
