Got my adapter and everything setup. Just had one run with the focus over Bidno Moorland. I feel like I'm having to learn to drive all over again. The thrustmaster feels so different to the Logitech, in a good way that is.

Nice. Yea they feel good. So what you running now, a t300 with logitech pedals? I just got the adaptor that makes the g27 shifter a standalone so I can use it as a handbrake. That works awesome too.

Well, like I said... I did not lock the wheels. So why does the engine keep cutting out?
Ok, quick check. No ABS means wheels will not lock up under braking. No engine cut outs in any car. Turn off ABS... yeah, engine cuts out under braking. So you do lock them up, you just don't notice it or the game doesn't inform you about it properly enough (well, technically it does, it cuts out the engine :D )

@Procver added.

Anyway, I use ABS and only it for one simple reason. It makes the cars more enjoyable to drive for me (and gives more control over the car under braking as well), which is what other assists don't do. If it means engine won't cut out as well? Heck, nothing to be sad about, more like happy there are some hidden perks to it. But to each their own, I simply suggested a temporary solution to a problem. Though I would've lied if I would say that I wasn't expecting the "No assists Elitism" to flood here :p

Now now, Ozore. The other reason i chose the Manta for this is because, well, Lancia 037 is... a Lancia 037.

But the Metro, after V2 ... i just.. can't slow it down/it floats away when it loses grip, i have to adjust my braking SEVERELY unlike any other V2 car for whatever reason. I am afraid to see how the Grp B RWD work in V2.

Well, that rally was a lot of fun in the Metro. I placed 6th overall, but still around 5 mins behind Sebastien Porkhammer.
It was pretty close towards the end between 4th and 6 or 7th place, which made it fun in the midfield!

I kinda ruined my rally on stages 3 and 4, when in stage 3 I tried to control a spin towards the end and fell off the track, having to recover the car. In stage 4 (the other long one), I had to run with a cracked windscreen, and then a bush took out the majority of my lights; every time I went into a dip, or my car lunged forwards, I couldn't see a thing, which then ended up in another off where I lost all of my lights.

Clawed it back, though, albeit cautiously.

Don't bandy words with these controller jockeys pork, they aren't fit to grease my pedals,
I now imagine your feet slipping and sliding on the pedals making funny squeaky noises because wheel-users have greased them up for your pleasure.

Exactly!
I just cant get any grip and I feel the car floating from side to side!

just to check, I did the same run with the Focus 07 and got a top 20 time...

So I´m not driving any Gr.B 4x4 until they got ..changed (not fixed)

Well, I´m kinda happy to see I´m not loosing my mind

Of course you'll do better times with a car 20 years younger than the Metro. Everything is approximately 999% easier.

Once you have hair on your chest, return to the Metro.

I wish I had those problems, that's nothing a little throttle control can't fix (;
With no upgrades I was flooring it and had trouble getting the car into 5th even on downhill sections, wish the Quattro was available^^

The Metro's reputation speaks for itself, though it's one of the few cars Colin managed to have a huge moment in without a shred of damage.

I imagine many of us wish we could be this lucky (you can't put it all down to skill, remembering how many times Colin binned it)

Legend, legendary car, legendary stage, legendary rally!

It's the most life-like drive of the game, I have a lotta love for the Metro! :)

One thing i can definitely say - It is an absolute wonder in Hairpins!  It isn't over-steering, but it does over-turn ever so often, probably the most opposite lock i've used in any Group B 4WD car.

I love when you've got to go full-lock with this car.

I like my cars how I like my women, with plenty of back-end action.

Its tame for a group B.  All WR cars should behave like that & the Group B class should be full insane mode :)

That was fun! I've put in over 200hrs but never driven the metro 6r4 before. What fun have I been missing out on. This car rocks, just got to upgrade it now. Thanks for letting me in the league, you will find me around the bottom of the table :-)

I enjoyed that, well apart from losing 3:45 in the night stage thanks to 2 recoveries and a forced tyre change, I didn't enjoy that bit.

I'm in a deep... problem. Been playing Rocket League too much, and Germany at Rain will be another set of full diaper runs with the 037 it seems xD

Well, I'm hoping I won't make stupid mistakes this time so... time to nail down a proper setup for the 037 :D
