Forum League

I'm sure this has already been asked, but we've so many delightful posts and threads that I can't possibly sift through them all to find the answer, as well as eating this delicious bowl of spaghetti hoops. 

Have we a forum league on the go? I know there's a Twitter league, but I'd quite like to put my times up against the regular forum contributors.

Seeing as there are two pages on the League section on this forum, and none have anything remotely... managed well, I would assume there isn't one. I can make one though, need to get that achievement anyway xD

If I would be in charge of setting the stages and car classes, you would never see Finland at rain with 2000's class. Promise. That is by far the worst possible combination in the entire game, beats Greece at night by miles (60's Mini at night in Greece... sounds interesting to say the least :D )

As soon as there will be some people to show interest, I'll make it, unless someone will make it first and will just post link to it without any consideration to how many will actually want to participate.

If only Codies could take part in the ALT+F4 thing (no restarts) it would be a perfect racing competition; maybe just a save point each 6 stages (first and middle)

Forcing anything would mean less people would be interested IMO. It's personal preference here after all, and everyone should be allowed to participate in a "Forum league" with whatever they assist and camera preference they like. You can create your own "Authentic League" though ;)

OK, quick question as I'm making the league, should the entrance be Open or Moderated? As in making sure that only forumers enter or just plain out don't care and let everyone in?

A 'forum league' with non forum members is just another league that has some forum members in it.

Any suggestions for the first Season? I was thinking on starting with 60's class OR having a Group B RWD and Group B 4WD, but without those that are ludicrously faster than the RWD ones.
Also the intervals IMO would be best to be set weekly. That way there's enough time to complete for everyone but not big enough of a gap to make those that finish it quickly get all "bored mode".

Added. I'll set up a season for a try, will consist of an... interesting I hope car and tracks choice.

Please do bring in suggestions, feedback etc. That way I can adjust the car selection, stages, settings and what not to make it more interesting AND accessible to everyone who's interested ;)
