F1 2016 - Internal Testing Details

Recommended Posts

I nominate @TeamVVV https://www.youtube.com/user/TeamVVV

But most important is that these people can give you honest feedback without being scared. And it would be really nice if they could give their impressions to us without any embargo. That would be a small redemption for the last years.

I vote for Harry Jacks (Noble 2909). The man needs no explanation xD.
Completely agree, he is the best driver within the community in terms of speed and reputation. We need the best testing the game, especially as he is a wheel user and runs no assists.

Also F1 Youtuber, xMattyG1. Who knows what he is talking about, passionate and will offer some good feedback about the game.

I nominate @aarava, @Tiametmarduk, xMattyG1 and AlexZAfRo.

I know that aarava wants to do it as he said so here: https://twitter.com/_aarava/status/669566333563101184, also he lives in the UK making it pretty easy to get there

Tiametmarduk as you almost certainly know has the biggest F1 YouTube channel so would probably be able to reach the most people, however he lives down under meaning he has a long way to travel

Alex and Matt all live in the UK and would almost certainly love to come down :)

I would also like to nominate @SmoothRacing he doesn't have such a big presence as the people above, however he is just as passionate :smile:

Gamertag: TRL Limitless
Name: James Doherty
Age: 23
Location: Canterbury, United Kingdom
Availability: Free most of the time!
Areas interested in: Developing the online multiplayer features, handling and wheel-to-wheel racing of the F1 game.

I would like to nominate myself for this opportunity.

Background

Having played the codemasters F1 series since release, I have competed at the highest level in online league racing within ARL, AOR, TRL and also the codies championship event, in which I won the XBOX 360 Spa Franchorchamps live event on F1 2013 during the codies live stream. My passion for the F1 games has come with success of securing 7 online league racing titles and creating a YouTube channel dedicated to sharing my gameplay of how to improve online players with their setups and generally improving them as players. My passion has resulted in now having over 8000 subscribers for my YouTube channel, with also over 2000 followers on my Twitter account dedicated to helping people get better at the F1 Codemaster games.  I have also competed in professional kart racing since I was 7 years old and became vice European champion in my formula in 2008.

My passion for F1 and playing the F1 series produced by yourself as been a huge part of my life in the past 5 years, which result in me independently setting up my own YouTube channel that has now grown far beyond what I could ever of imagined. As being one of the most well known and successful league racers throughout the F1 series, I feel my input of experience, knowledge and competitive success would significantly put me as a very strong candidate in help identify what is needed to create the core foundations of an ever successful Codemasters Formula One game

Thank you for your time in reading this - It really would be a dream to be part of this opportunity as a result of my years of experience and passion for these games..

My achievements:

- x 7 F1 online league racing champion (F1 2011, F1 2012, F1 2013, F1 2014)

Hi guys,

As you’ve no doubt heard, we’re planning a whole raft of things to get you guys involved, and the first step of this is running some internal game testing early in the New Year. Whilst we only have limited availability for this, as valued members of our community, we’d like to extend an invitation to some of you (though we are planning further events in the year if you can’t make this one).

We’d like you to nominate someone (either yourself or someone else) from the forums to come down and do some testing with us. You’ll be able to test the game, talk to us about the franchise, meet the team etc.! We’re planning on last week(s) of January, or very early February, and most likely for more than one day in our Birmingham studio, so if you could be available around then that would be fantastic (obviously, if you all tell me that you can’t do anything until half-way through February, we’ll look into changing it)!

If you’re nominating yourself, we’d need to know your age, general location, availability, what bits of the game you’re interested in the most and why you’d like to come and test with us.

If you’re nominating someone else, we’d like to know why you think they’d be good at coming to help us test.

We’re looking to get this moving as soon as possible, so we’ll give you until the end of the week to get your nominations in! To get your nominations in, you can either reply on this thread, or message me. :)

I would like to nominate @aarava , @tiametmarduk and @xMattyG because the are all great and popular youtubers that are dedicated to the game. They are also great drivers and hilarious as hell!

@jennyannem  I'd like to nominate myself. I am 25 years old, living in The Netherlands, and I would be very happy to catch a flight to Birmingham and have the chance to test the new game and meet the team. I have been playing Formula 1 games since I was 7 years old starting with F1 97, and I play 2015 everyday, I take F1 games very seriously. in fact F1 is practically the only game I play, so it's a bit more then just a hobby for me. I give constructive feedback, have a good eye for detail, and I'd love to share some of the interesting ideas from me and the guys in my league with you :)

I play both single player championships and online, currently I am very focussed on the league racing, so I care a lot about clean and fair racing. In our league we have had many interesting discussions about how the game could further improve the clean racing, strategies, handling, menus, setups, penalty systems, lobbies and many other things. I drive about two 100% races a week to prepare for the weekly 100% league race, excluding practice sessions and many hours of time trial, so I have a lot of experience and ideas to share for next years game.

I would like like to nominate myself. I am 14 years old and I would like to represent the younger of the target audience. I'm from Cheltenham, Gloucester. And I'm available every weekend unless otherwise. What I would like to help you develop is the relationship between the gamer and the game itself, such as F1 2010 where you had interviews and an agent, I would love to see that return.

Hi, I'd love to nominate myself for this opportunity! (as well as a few others)
I realise my name has been mentioned for this a few times already, but I'd like to formally confirm my interest as a long-time racing game player. I've played Codemasters game since, well, TOCA Touring Cars some time ago and I really want to see F1 2016 perform as well as it possibly can! Overall I've played racing games since I was 4 (aka for 14 years) including GRID titles, DiRT titles, and obviously the Codemasters F1 series! I'm also a YouTuber with over 8,000 subscribers and 1 million channel views and feel as though I can bring forward the views of a large amount of people! Overall, I just want to give my thoughts and ideas on aspects that will make next year's game better! Below you can find my YouTube channel for video content and my twitter in case you need to contact me!

YouTube : https://www.youtube.com/user/FlyingNirangatang
Twitter : https://twitter.com/TheOfficialFNG

I'd also like to nominate 2 other fantastic F1 YouTubers called "JustChipmunk" and "AeternoUK". Both have great F1 content on their respective YouTube channels and have played racing games for a substantial amount of time. I believe both would be able to offer brilliant opinions concerning any improvements to next year's game as they've already expressed brilliant ideas in discussion videos. Below you can find their twitter accounts in order to contact them!
JustChipmunk : https://twitter.com/TrustChipmunk
Aeterno UK : https://twitter.com/AeternoUK

Both of the above are also from the UK!

Thank you very much, I hope all our nominations are considered!

Niran

Just a suggestion.  Consider testers for multi players in different areas around the globe for the possibility of flawless multi player experience worldwide.

Aside from my own nomination there are some very obvious people who've dedicated a lot of time in creating you tube channels and helping others with the game. The ones I'd nominate are:
@TRL_Limitless
@xMattyG
@aarava
Harry jacks (noble)
FisiFan91

There's also @Tiametmarduk but hes in Australia, he has a huge following on YouTube.

These are the guys who promote f1 games on YouTube, they are the ones who would also be honest and have great experience in the franchise

 I hope you codies are making your choices wisely because I feel that there is a risk with that people with no real racing experience will give there opinion on the game and making the game more arcady.

This is very true but luckily people in the forums will be voted too so its not just youtubers. Unfortunately its obviously going to be a popularity contest but hopefully Codemasters take this into concideration and pick people from the forums as well as youtubers.

Okay, well I would like to nominate myself. I'm a 18 year old guy from Sweden. I have always enjoyed the F1 games you've done. I am one of those few that are really enjoying F1 2015 and a defo think there is potential for F1 2016 to be one of the best racing games ever. I think that F1 2015 is a very good basegame but there is something missing. I'm personally more interested in Career mode and online than the other things.

I'm that kind of guy that hates when the game is more arcade than realistic. So basically I would like you to give my advice on how to improve the game to be more realistic. Cheers.
