The new Patch for the PS4 is installed on my Console.

But is the same Bug in Q1 in Singapore. Kwjat is out in Q1 lol. It is not realitic.

Red Bull and Ferrari dominated this year the Singapore Race.

Jenson Button is in Q3 in Singapore (Championship-Season). Is the same results before the new Patch after Q3:

Mercedes, Ferrari, Bottas, Massa, Ricciardo

All AI is slower in the second Run in Q3.

Very good is all drivers, drives with Options in Q2. 

I have a question: Or grab the sports Updates only when I restart a new Championship-Seasion? That is the question here

Multiplayer Q:
Montreal - cut the Last corner with Full Speed and without even thinking about to Break an the next Lap still is NOT Red?
Cutting Corners in the fast Lap and the Lap is still not Red?

can you please explain what is ment with "strict corner cutting rules " I think this is anything else but strict.

My PS4 game is also updated now.

I was in the middle of a race ( Suzuka ) Kvyat was at 16th place in lap 6. After the update I did continue this race and now he is in 7th place in lap 33. So the update is working right after your download. You do not have to restart a championship to notice the difference.

I just read the patch notes but I'm wondering if other thing have changed as well. Maybe it's just me not giving it all but I restarted the season and seem to end much lower down the field in a Ferrari  (post patch) than in a Torro Rosso (pre patch) on the hard difficulty setting.

No complaints about this, just wondering if this is a result of the patch or just me. From reading the patch notes I can't find anything that could alter the AI difficulty this much.

was the strict rules option actually implemented and what does it do exactly? I don't notice any difference, you can still go 1m at least next to the track in pretty much any corner and I don't go beyond that (usually don't even go outside the lines, just for testing) so can't really tell a difference. Can we have like a strict option that actually uses the white line of the track?

car just frozz in garage,,ps4,,manor,,austria,,had to restart app,,,and the ghosting is still there under heavy breaking,but not as mutch,,just to let u know..and thanks for the patch

@Lozzy I have to agree with this. The strict option only seems to be penalizing extreme corner cutting more often, instead of using the white lines as the track limit for warnings and penalties, there's still a lot of time to be gained by going over the lines, without any warnings.

from what i've seen strict means absolutely nothing. i was able to cut and extend the first 2 and last 2 corners at Austria without a warning or having my lap not count in qualifying

Concerns about the strict corner cutting rules have been noted. I will find out if there is anything else that can be changed to further improve this.

Thank you @Lozzy,  would it be possible to change the 'left the track detection zone' to be less forgiving? We would love the track limits to just be the actual white lines for every corner, if that could be achieved it'd be great.

It seems to me that right now the game often recognizes the outside edges of the kerbs as the track limits instead of the inside, meaning you can still get away with some pretty blatant cutting ( two wheels on the grass, two on the kerbs )
