I am definitely in the WRC2 league :)
It's nothing to be ashamed off! :D

Come on guys, are you serious? Why should somebody who is very fast leave the league? Or why should he be penalized? This doesn't make sense. Yes, maybe I will be one minute closer to first place now, but in the back of my mind I know that I didn't earn that by getting better.

It was @Porkhammer who made that suggestion and decision.

I don't know anyone here that wanted it or asked for it.  I really don't mind him being in the leagues i race in and would rather he continued to be so.

But... I don't want to be in a league. I thought I made this quite clear already. End of story, please. Remember the fat bird on the previous page.

Personally, I dont think Porky should leave the league, & Im the first to bitch about stuff.  I dont have a problem with not being first, but I think maybe an unpublicised, unspoken of, WRC2 category in the league would be nice though, for the lads that maybe arent able to do a sprint stage that 12 seconds faster?  Can we look at that and get Porky back in?
I don't think any of us slower guys actually care about winning a league. I at least am quite content with having my aim set on beating smurf and/or bear if I drive really well, and hopefully getting a point or two here and there

Agreed. My aim at first was to lose less than 30 seconds in a short stage, less than a minute in a long one, compared to the top guys. Now that has come down to 20/40, sometimes 15/30. And trying to have fun, of course.

My aim is to try and fight for the win on the tarmac rallies, other than that I'm just there for the fun. And I really want to beat Porky at Monte Carlo in this League at some point :D

Now, back to the topic  - completed Greece and I think it was my most consistent event ever. Lost about 15 seconds on the first stage, but every other one was as good as it can get. Really enjoyed this event.

Well, I'm still to beat Porkhammer in a stage, guess it won't be in the league  :(
We have CrazyNevada to beat as well. Only solution to change the situation is to get faster, one day...

I just realized i hadn't YET driven Kathodo Leontiou with the Manta's "new" physics.... 1 Minute loss right there due to various reasons! .. Well ... Shit.

:(

Disastrous end. As I was so far down the board, I decided I'd finish Greece in style, by pushing till the end. Broke radiator and got two punctures on the second stage after the service and retired. Disappointing, but I'll keep my hopes up for Germany and Finland.

1st stage, 3 seconds behind the fastest time, made me quite optimistic. Then 2nd stage happened. First half was quite good, then the downhill part came... and I got a puncture from scratching a rock -_- Went through next 25% of the track on the flat, last 25% on the rim, lost 1m 10s to the fastest time on that stage, which eventually resulted in me not being able to catch @Procver at the end.

Oh well, even though I'm starting to like Greece, Greece still doesn't like me xD

Next time on "1000 ways to screw up", we'll show you how to dance around a pole... in mid-air xD

Crappy first stage with a spin, better in SS 2 and SS3, then jumped the start in SS4. Got so mad that I had about a half dozen offs. Tried to regroup for SS5, but flew off the road again. And again. And that was that.

Aimed to be slow and steady, which worked until SS7 where I started to wonder if I could catch up to Procver if I just pushed hard... Yeah, you can figure out the rest.

It's just that mindset, when you're trying to catch up to someone that things are gonna get ugly. Happens to me a lot

Did a run to get a setup for the Quattro in Finland ahead of the next event... Oh boy do I have a big storm coming. I might not finish any events this time around. I'll just play it safe I guess.

I don't feel like doing the league now because IF I win an event, people will say it's because 'I made Porkhammer leave' :/
If they haven't realised by now that I left because I'm no big fan of leagues anyway, then they're a bit too daft to be taken seriously. I wouldn't worry about it.
