Well, that was a surprise!  Rolled most stages between 2 and 6, got a puncture within the first 10 seconds of River Severn Valley (after rolling), was last going into the last 2 and needed a big push to catch smurf again.  Everyone else must have wrecked on the last & I got a nice clean run to get to 2nd again!

It was a horrific rally for me, if I redid it again cleanly, I could shave at least a minute 30's worth of accidents off!  Everyone must have had as bad a rally as me though!?

Two moments on the last stage and 8 PB's...

Was still 20 - 30 seconds off the pace every stage. I'm on the safe side of flat out, but honestly - 5 seconds faster per stage is the best I could hope for... and even that would require an enormous amount of luck!

It was all I could do to keep a RWD Manta behind me!!

I was crazy fast but punctured 4 tyres in 3 stages, still got to be 5-6 seconds behind CrazyNevada in a couple of other stages and finished 2nd overall!
Group B's are killing me, they're too powerful

Some mistakes here and there, decent pace otherwise. Knew I had to beat @KevM to secure 3rd place. And before the last stage I thought I had a real good lead of 40 seconds. Just needed to bring the car home without any major disasters....

And about 2 minutes in I got a freak compression that threw the car up in the air, and into the ditch which I had a real hard time to get out of, so lost maybe 10-15 seconds there. Now I started to feel that it was a little bit too close to comfort, so pushed a slight bit harder for the remainder of the stage. And of course I clipped a log which spun me and lost 5-6 more there.

Made it through to the finish... and I'm 0.6 seconds behind KevM on the toalt. Face meets palm.

So... unless someone squeezes in right between med and KevM then it means that me and @Evilsmurf  will have the same points or 3rd. What do you say smurf? Shall we settle this on the bonus pikes peak round?

7th stage: 3rd position (within a shout of getting 2nd)
8th stage: 7th position

Seems like my rally went from better than yours to complete and utter disaster compared to yours in a single stage xD

Keep in mind chaps, Pikes Peak is optional, though I'm planning on making a "Hall of Fame" or something along those lines for it.

Does anybody here know the game "A mind forever voyaging"? 80s, if I remember correcty.

Anyway, that's what happened to me. First stage, fifth gear, landed too far left after a jump and hit a car (ambulance?). One of my front wheels departed. So did I.

Oh, just to clarify something for those participating in the next event. The "No practising rule" relates to driving in Custom Event, not using the "Practice" option in the actual Hill Climb League event. It's basically a shakedown... that is as long as the actual stage xD

Just pointing this out for those that would be wondering. And since the cars are different, no need to stick with the Quattro if you don't want. Pikes Peak is based on E2, rally is S1 after all.

Wait what? The next season is Hillclimb only? No voting?

I'm so annoyed.

I was 2nd for the majority of the rally, right up until the last stage.

My car bounced unrealistically after landing a jump, turning it into bucking bull, and near wrecked my car, opening the door for 2nd place to be taken away from me. Fuming.

I finished 3rd which is still a podium place (if it stays that way), but I should have had 2nd but for some absolute bullshit.

Event. I mentioned at the very beginning and throughout this season that the last event is Hill Climb and is optional to enter aka doesn't count to the seasonal standings. Like the Le Mans in Race Driver GRID career mode.
I'll show the voting options tomorrow with the season standings. The voting will last for 2-3 days. I wonder if this time everyone will again go for the new option -_-

You might want to check page 51, middle of it. That's BS :p Made me go from 3rd to last -_-

What the hell? That looked ridiculous! There wasn't even a lock-up or anything :/ which would have been the only explanation... providing there was a lock-up! That's an odd one.

ABS, so I can't have a lock up. Which is why that is pure BS, especially the puncture part. The tires get a stronger impact on the pond part in Bidno Moorland than on that thing... ehh, just my luck.

The Quattro is a bad handling oul bitch!
I did have issues with the suspension throughout the rally, but it was very manageable up until that random occurrence; it shouldn't have happened.

In the 400hrs I've played the game, I don't think I've ever ran with a suspension/damper combination I'm happy with.

Looks like a really slow wheel turn, the wheel was barely turned the whole time you went into the bank, getting off the bank it turned more so.
Wireless gamepad?

They are quite understeery & unresponsive though.  It's only the power that makes them worthy of Group B.  I was doing upgrade runs today & may have found a new fav Grp B to edge my 6R4 out.... The RS200 is great!

The 6R4 is just an excellent and fun car to drive, however, RS200 is serious fun, and serious business!

Ah well, i am 1 point off... Booooooooo.

Pikes - First run went to hell. Oops. Second had a braking mishap that lost me a solid 4+ seconds. The understeery pug was taken out of spite, really. :D

This season went through few hiccups, first the long waiting due to the bug, second the... well, you know, but we're finally here at the end. Big congratulations to the winner @CrazyNevada who was scoring such times that even @Porkhammer would've had a lot of issues winning. In any case I finally managed to not screw up too much to secure a podium finish, while the battle for 3rd position was  very heated. But in the end, the standings decided and there's only 1 spot on the podium with "3" on it, so congratulations to @Evilsmurf for getting his first podium in the league and good luck to @Dytut and @Snaky115 in the next season.

VOTING TIME:
- "Voyage, Voyage"
- Mad at Front
- Old School

As always, make sure you cast your vote as the unused options go to the next season. The voting will last till 24 hours after the Pikes Peak event ends. Once the votes are in, there will be another 24 hours to setup the event, which means that the next Season will start in 82 hours. Everyone happy with this way or should it start quicker/later?
