Well, I managed to spin only about 4 times (had few stucks in the snowbanks though) which resulted in me finishing 9 seconds ahead of my arch rival @Snaky115 :D

And to be honest, for the first time I actually enjoyed driving through Sweden. I was slow but somehow the RWD cars just flowed through the stages nicely which made it a very nice experience. Well, Greece next, so no more fear of snowbanks. This time it's only tumbling down the mountain xD

I retired because I was at least 1:20 behind Evilsmurf or whoever was last, so there was no point to continuing.
You should of kept plugging away... Trust me, my day got a whole lot worse!

Two spins in the first stage, a crash in the second, another one in the fourth, picking up a puncture. Some more spins and two resets in the last four stages. Only in the last service I found out I drove with a very strange setup, when I compared it to default. How can that be? Does the game load the last used setup instead of the default at the start of an event?

At least I finished. And sometimes I could match the times of Bear and Evilsmurf. That's as good as it gets in Sweden, I guess.

The Cosworth was really nice actually, that's true. One of my spins however was when I was at full throttle and the turbo suddenly kicked in. Wha-BAM.

The Stratos. I do not like it. Ragequit on SS8 after yet again a silly spin from the car just being unpredictable. Just so much drama with that car.

Bad gearing then. My turbo was constantly on so I never had the issue of it kicking in suddenly :p

Loads to be said for the silky-smooth Normally Aspirated power-delivery of the mighty M3 :D

But yeah, if the boost caught you out, you shouldn't have lifted to start with :p

Lots and lots of spins for me. But what really bothers me is the "Whoops, parser error" message when I try to enter the forum via my computer, I've erased my cache and no use. I'm writing through my phone now, and it sucks

Try visiting the homepage and go to "Manage account". You don't need to change anything, just click the green button. Works for me, when I get that error - usually after I deleted my temporary internet files and stuff.
@YoMrWhite You're the man! I've been trying forever to make this work once again, thanks a lot!!!

Well, my League run is over. No real issues, 3 spins on the hairpins due to a bit too much handbrake. Other than that I was trying to push it while retaining that safe margin. Felt good, scored some times with the 80s in Greece finally. Waiting for Finland now.

It's getting better, but I still don't feel really comfortable in the M3. Sometimes it feels very big and heavy.

Had three resets, two or three spins and my hairpin technique leaves a lot to be desired. In between I did some decent times compared to Ryu. Not often enough, though.

SORRY SPECTATOR.
Anyway. Almost ALMOST got Ryu, but then he OHK'd me on Fourketa Kourva, the very hairpin filled stage, not my best stage by far on Greece. Tight.

@RyuMakkuro, can you fix the setup option on the first stage for the rest of the league? I simply can't drive the Stratos with default setup.

As for greece, SS1 was horrible. Multiple slow spins and offs, all at slow speed due to default setup. When I managed to get my own setup it went better. Still not at good terms with the car, but it was decently controllable and quite enjoyable to drive. Still spun a few times and had an off, so no points for me. Hopeful that I might do something better in wales at least.

Unfortunately the "Vehicle Tuning" setting works only when "Service Area" is also toggled on (according to Hatward). So as much as I would love to fix it, you have to deal with the first stage on each location with the default and use your preferred setups from the 2nd onward. I can't make any changes to Season while it started. Sorry.

Holy bananas, that was a close competition there. We were exchanging the positions all the way up to 5th stage. After that I started consistently pulling out a lead, where I could swear I had most of my hairpin spins xD

I just missed the finish on the last stage.  I was plagued with 2 early punctures and plenty of spins as predicted!

Can't call my run fast, can call it slightly consistent. Annoying 10 second mistake on 2nd stage, and then just general caution to keep my consistency up. Right hand fingers started to seize up badly from all the corrections i was making. X_X

Finland done. Not fast and lots of silly mistakes that ultimately caused me spin's and punctures.
Starting to enjoy the 70's car's now.

Started to get some form of enjoyment and a slight bit of speed from the Stratos in Finland. Kept up decently with @Snaky115 until SS5, where the Stratos wanted to hunt squirrels. Tried to talk some sense into it, but then it just went the other way because of a newfound interest in agricultural machinery. This angered me to so much that I just left it behind a barn and walked away.

First stage... went off on a corner I never did before in a way that pisses me off the most. Watch the video for the demonstration (sorry for the quality, haven't set up Dxtory properly after format).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VlYmJ5Cf2XA

Second stage... went off on the same corner, just the other way, exactly the same way... but other than that I only exchanged paint with some trees and decided to get a flat on one of the last jumps on the stage (the billboard one). Over 40 seconds lost... well, could've been worse.

Last stage... I didn't went off. In fact, I didn't had time to slide off the corner, because this happened in mid-air xD

I had to Alt+F4 at the start line on Stage 4, because I don't have time to play any more tonight. I can't remember/wasn't aware of the ability to 'Save and Exit' being removed, so if that gives me automatic retirement I'll be pretty pissed off.

Righty Ho...

1st Stage - Horrific standard setup, poor poor poor
2nd Stage - Going ok, still had earlier setup in my head & not as committed as I should have been, spun twice due to caution strangely enough
3rd Stage - Onnit like a car bonnet :D. Love the M3-ness
4th Stage - in the dark, could have been smoother - nothing to report
5th Stage - oops, hit a tree head on, lol
6th Stage - Oh we're wounded after the tree, can't turn left! Found out when I spun!
7th Stage - Big one, need clever service time. Oh right, there is none!  Drove it at 90%, cars wrecked at this point....
8th & Final - car looked like crap, but felt better.  Fun Stage!

Finland really suits the more powerful 80's cars & on that note, I expect his Craziness, the Nevada man, to take 2 mins out of me :p
