(Xbox One) No Sound after New Xbox Update

Recommended Posts

Okay, so this is a slightly odd one. It appears that ever since the latest Microsoft update rolled out over the Xbox One, there is a conflict which causes F1 2015 to lose sound completely - on some consoles - when launched. It is the only game that has this issue and has been reported multiple times on the Xbox Forums.

http://forums.xbox.com/xbox_support/xbox_one_support/f/4270/p/2075373/5501925.aspx#5501925

Please lets shed some light on this situation.

Rare Ltd staff here - we have had the same issue with Rare Replay and have a workaround/ fix.
In your console settings go to:
Display and Sound -> Volume -> Chat mixer
See if your 'mute all other sounds' option is selected.
If so, uncheck it or change to 50% mute and see if that fixes the problem.
It has worked for all Rare Replay issues that have been reported to us so far so I am confident will also work for F1.

Thank you, this fix worked a treat. The game now runs normally with sound ☺️
