DiRT Rally - Found a Winter Wonderland/Version 1.0 bug? Post it here!

Not sure if its a bug or local settings that have got knocked out, but since 1.0 the graphics on my machine have taken a major step backwards for me

just drove Route de Turini descente (not completely sure, at least one Turini stage). What my Co said had nothing to do with the track, completely wrong soundtrack from some other stage. German language. Also in Sweden, my Co is very shy, I hardly can understand what he's talking about. Should be a bit louder.

there is a bug with reflection on the hood in interior view (pilote view, not dashboard view).
The reflection is wrong (some green and red panel )
Hope you can fix it ;)

Please excuse me for my English, I from Russia. In the rally championship no 6 stage (Sweden). Says that is available only 5 stages.

I have tried a lot of different racing games using Oculus DK2 and since the 1.0 update I can't play the game for even 10 seconds without feeling sick!!!  You locked the camera to the axes of the car!! Its unplayable with a HMD, This is the first time I have ever gotten sick with the 100's of demos I've tried this year. Version .9 was perfect like all the previous ones!!  YOU HAVE TO PUT IT BACK THE WAY IT WAS!!  is there a way to downgrade to .9??? HELP!! GAME IS UNPLAYABLE!!!!!!

• Your Oculus Rift can now be toggled to lock the horizontal orientation. Look for a flag in the hardware configuration file.

I don't know if this is the cause but the file is hardware_settings_config.xml in your documents\my games\dirt rally\hardwaresettings\ folder. Look for orientationLock. It's supposed to default to false though I think.

I just found it and had to set it to True and its all good again!! orientationLock="true" I thought it was going to take longer to fix this issue.. only 1.5 hours..  Now back to RallyCross PVP to kick some butt!

My graphic settings were all messed up after the update, had to put it back to the settings before the update (or at least make a good guess). Not sure it in your case it's the same but it could be.

Maybe a minor thing, but the main menu screen for me seems to only show Finland and Sweden as backdrops, can the other images be returned? I was watching the updated credits and they're quite hard to read, as the current backdrops are quite light coloured.

Could it be, because i have yet not signed in racenet?

Hi

In this version you changed how much you can move the driver seat "down". could you increase it how it was before patch. i want to get the seat lower. it was fine before patch 1.0

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but the gear shifting in manual sequential mode seems to be really slow for the 2010 cars - from what I've seen in RL, they should be close to switching instantly i.e. faster than the 2000s and Group A cars.

IMHO they've made them faster at least in Fiesta RS compared to 0.9

This is correct.
Turns out, Hyundai wouldn't allow the upgrade system to be implemented, so there are no upgrades. It's already maxed out from the start.
You're lucky, you're display at least makes sense.
It might be a remenant of the test files I had installed, but my game says 0/5 still, which was rather more confusing when nothing was unlocking. :P 
I should probably do a clean install.

Wow, Bry, that's really weird, of all the cars in the game, that's the only one.....

OK, BUGS!

1) New ALS trigger (sound bug for anti-lag) seems to stop working part way through a stage -
Tried '01 Impreza, '07 Focus and '01 Focus.  Imp regularly stopped, sometimes never started working, old focus was ok,  new focus could barely tell if it was working or not.

2) Crap, i can't remember, must write these down at the time, bu yes, the first one, fix the ALS trigger, it sounds amazing when it's working!

The headlight switch should still work, but it has changed.

Firstly, neither it or the wipers respond while the car is driving to the line or sitting waiting to start.
You can only turn on the lights/wipers after the countdown is finished and you can start moving.
It's also a tap to toggle the lights on/off now.
The wipers still use the tap for one wipe, hold for always on.

I don't know why this changed, hopefully it's just a bug that will be looked at again because it's nice to get those out of the way with before you start.
But it should still work for racing.

As for the Hyundai engineer perks... yeah... I can only really imagine the situation was clarified almost at the last minute, which is why we have what are basically useless perks.
Fortunately, those perks are much much MUCH MUCH cheaper than they used to be.

Control configurations aren't being saved. This is what I'm using:

SimXperience AccuForce wheel
Fanatec Clubsport V3 pedals
Fanatec Clubsport handbrake
PC / USB Button box

It only picks up the default AccuForce settings but loses the pedals and handbrake as well as button box mappings.

I started up Lysvik[long] with the R4 Subaru in the cobra motorsport livery.
The car was scratched on the right side even before I started the race.
