Demand of information graphic regulations for rain

Recommended Posts

Hello has all, the game being now in version final, I turn to you to know if there was a way to improve fps in the rain, because unfortunately with my modest config, the game become unplayable in the rain...
I pass of 60fps constant by dry weather has 35fps in the rain, one might as well say that it is not really the ideal...

Here is my material:
Windows 10 64bits, I7 920 2.67Ghz, 6Go RAM, Nvidia GTX 750

If you know help me, would be nice...
Thank you

Crank Weather up to 'High' in Graphics settings.  For some reason, 'Low' kills my FPS

Actually, the "meteo" parameter raised makes me win 10fps in the rain, I cross 35 has 45fps ...
Thank you for this information.
However, I tested the present mod on RaceDepartement who is supposed to increase the performances in the rain, and there, I have no earnings, I tested 4 different configurations without obtaining the slightest improvements ... (I play in sight inside) it is a real pity, because for ES in the rain, thus I am obliged to get down again the graphic options on "Low" ...

Isn't there some thing has to settle into the trap of configuration Nvidia which shall allow to return the more fluid game in the rain?

Thank you

You are below the recommend specs.

I run an i7 4790 with 16gb and a gtx 970. I get 60fps all the time.  Might simple be time for an upgrade.  After all, 1gb vram isn't enough these days and is the min requirement.

Before I got a GTX 970 last month I spent months changing graphics settings so I could play on a GTX 750ti. These were the settings I used to play the game in 1080p @ 50FPS.

NVidia Control Panel.

In Game.

@SkiddyMcCrash - did you not find the 'Low' weather setting completely killed your FPS?  I have to run weather at 'High' to get things running anyway smoothly in bad weather conditions

Actually, @KevM I think you could be right, I may have taken that screenshot of my settings before I discovered that weather was working backwards. He can ty it and then change the weather setting if Low doesn't work.

I wish they'd fix/clarify the rain effect actually, reason being this:

Low - users sprites to show sheeting rain in middle/far distance, looks great, doesn't have 'modeled' raindrops in the near distance.
High - 'models' raindrops near distance but does not show the sheeting effect at middle/far distance.

It's almost as if the high detail was supposed to be 'added' to the effects in the low detail version - the perf hit some people have with it almost suggest that it's trying to, but isn't rendering it.

It is great, with quite your advise, I succeeded has to rise has 55fps in the rain, and I thank you for it...
But I have another question, what is that the addition of skin can have an influence on fps?
Thank you

Ahh, cars skins, of course. Yeah, it shouldn't make a difference, I had a lot of modded skins when I was doing the tests for the 750ti
