The final release is a disappointment

Recommended Posts

I just want to hear a feedback from CM devs that the development still not finished an we can wait for many updates, DLCs with lot of  interesting contents in the future. I should pay more for DLCs track packs, car category packs ex R5, etc.
I never read anything about upcoming DLCs, but is see the wall with photos about more cars. I hope that all cars released for previous DiRT series should downloadable content for DR once?! ;)

Ok, now i try to tell why better replay system is important for me? Because it is a simulator.
Replay is the best way to check your faults, and let you see how other people do different things in a same corner. You can compare your drives to others.
What is not good in the system used now?  For example you make a perfect handbrake turn, and while you watch the replay, it that given moment auto-ordered camera change back to in-car view and you aren't able to watch the turn... If you ever played with RBR, you know what i mean.

I see that the replay system is limitated to its technology and i accepted it. I see how the newer stages use more and more track side cameras, and they're all good. I didn't want to hurry CM to change their replay system ASAP, i just take a note because i can't understand how could be a hard job to leave in-car replay cams and use replays  without using them ... They are programmed sequences, am i wrong? If is that true, devs should change camera orders easily . And it doesn't cost money or depends on low budet.  A checkbox in the menu ex.
- Use onboard cameras for replays? yes ◌  no ●

As is read DR 2 will use a different replay ssytem so we are talking about the past, not about the future ;)

It's already been confirmed there will be a dirt show when Paul is back from his holiday, where they will talk about release and the future. The game has literally just been released, which is why they haven't said anything about dlc yet. Just be patient

There's a lot more to changing the replay cameras in the old tracks than a simple check box...

Something to read about how the tracks are made: http://blog.codemasters.com/dirt/06/pikes-peak-from-the-ground-up/

Well, usually those that played sim games and of course the real rally drivers know where they've lost time while they're driving on the stage. They might have made a slight mistake, gone wide, etc. It might also have something to do with the setup of your car. And sometimes it's just down to the others being braver than you are or possessing better skills. Also the best way to improve your technique is by looking at others through their dash/cockpit cam. Then you can see their lines and braking points. One more thing, everybody has their own driving style. Quick on one surface or rally, slower on others.

FYI: I have GeForce Experience software on my computer so I can easily enable my shadowplay and save the replays so I can watch them later on which is kind of nice.

I like watching myself rally drive on TV style external cameras because I really am that shallow. Seriously!
