A little update on my Stratos:

The yellow stuff is plasticine or modelling clay to fill the holes that were made during the forming process (it's like miniature body filler :D). Soon it will be formed into gyps (plaster?), the deadline is near :D
Why use plasticine instead of something like bondo? We make planes out of foam, and we'll coat it in bondo and sand it smooth before wrapping fiberglass. Isn't plasticine an oil based clay/putty that stays soft?

It's gonna get covered with plaster to make a negative, plasticine is good for that because it doesn't stick to the plaster. Both plasticine and foam are soft so that doesn't really matter that much here
