[BUG] Hyundai i20 anti-lag sounds cutting out after a short period of driving in Sweden

Recommended Posts

I noticed that the anti-lag sounds of the Hyundai i20 mysteriously disappear after a short period of driving in Sweden. Restaring the race doesn't fix the problem, only quitting to the main menu and resuming the race 'fixes' it. As soon as i drive for about 1 - 2 minutes they disappear again, sometimes after 10 - 20 seconds. I am using automatic transmission. Not sure if other countries are also affected, Germany at least doesn't.

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

EDIT: i have found some YouTube clips showing the bug.

On a side note, some YouTube clips of the Hyundai i20 at Sweden do not even have the anti-lag sounds from the beginning.

The anti-lag sounds are clearly audible from the beginning of this video but they disappear at 0:45.

And an even better example:

Anti-lag sounds disappearing after 1:05 in the video below:

Thanks both, we've found and fixed the problem, will be in a future patch. Also, all of the cars with ALS sound have a balance pass. So you'll find the i20 for example, much more in-line with the real car - it was all to much in V1.0.

Thanks, Dave, i've been thinking about those, and, looking forward to hearing the pass, my thoughts were that some engine sounds esemed to match a popping noise, as it is now, and others, a cracking noise, like the Delta Integrale.
