Hows my weather looking JZ, do you need a redo?  The M3 looks pretty like the rest of the runs?
Yeah, It seems like it works fine, not sure where the difference I'm seeing is coming from. Past the first square at the start is a little clearing where I can see the clouds, and on some runs there's all overcast, and on some there's a little bit of blue sky... not sure it'll change too much, but if I find it  noticeable... color correction. :p
@JZStudios So if you could let me know what stage setup you need, i can see where you cut *to* it, and if you can let me know where you intend to cut *away* from it, then i can make sure that i give you a fancier looking run for the section you'll use.
Let us know how that adding up of times and equally dividing them goes, sounds interesting, otherwise you're going to end up with very long sections in the Mini, progressively getting to very short for the 2010 car.

I like that transition idea, otherwise, i also think the straight camera change cut is fine too.
Hmm, I'll work some more on the transition, but it will most likely be in that forest. As far as timing goes, right now I'm sort of guesstimating (Huh, guesstimating is actually a word apparently.) the time and also trying to find interesting places to do jumps, mostly places like the trees and actual jump jump cuts. Somehow cutting to a car flying through the air just feels right...
Does anyone else have any thoughts? @Porkhammer, you suggested the Beatles, and honestly I'm not a huge fan of them, so what song do you suggest? I also know a lot of American 70's songs, but not sure about European songs, except for The Final Countdown... And the 80's kind of sucked, as well as most of the 90s... and pretty much everything from that point forward....

I wasn't really serious about different music to suit the era of the cars though, plus you'd have to take all kinds of copyright crap from Youtube should you choose to do so. Sorry if that wasn't clear. :D

It doesn't matter much, in most cases the video will simply be taken down. Often an ads will simply show up. Be sure when it happen to not contest the copyright strike & the account will be okay.

Yeah, I already have a video up with a copyrighted song and it just has an ad placement. Also looking through the top songs of the 80s list.... God they all suck.

Bohemian Rhapsody?
pulls out shotgun and blows off own head :D

if you going to add music just be careful. copyrights and mute video just make it pointless adding songs. unless you partnered. not only that you can be barring some countries from watching your video. through the music. germany is very bad for that.

So, after timing, the average run is about 6 minutes... which means something..  uhh, so that in seconds is 356.1, and divide that by 10 means each clip should be about 35.61 seconds long. Theoretically.

Also, based on my personal driving playlist, I've come up with
Slow Ride by Foghat
https://youtu.be/GcCNcgoyG_0
Bring Em Down by Lost Prophets
https://youtu.be/wiroB7FWEXM
Lights And Sounds by Yellowcard
https://youtu.be/8DzbLszt0ok
Basically, I don't know what appeals to more people/rally fans. Slow ride fits really well actually, and is also long enough. Bring Em Down is high energy. Woohoo! Or something, and I find it a good racing pace, and Lights And Sounds is similar, but a little bit more toned back, and was part of the Burnout Paradise soundtrack.

Slow ride would work well for the older cars, but outside of the chorus, it's not a great song, as well as it not really making 8 minutes naturally.

Alright, so let me know if this is what you want, i've left plenty of afterwards footage just in case.  File is just under a gig if it's what you want.
PS, looks like Handbrake caused some hiccups in that file, not sure what setting would affect that, but i still have the original capture if we can come up with another idea, it's circa 4GB.

Yeah, that'll be good. If you can upload either file that plays smoothly, I have enough HDD space, so that's not a problem.
I didn't get around to editing this weekend, I just got busy with some other things, but I should be able to get some done tonight. Upload whatever file you can and I'll continue on working.

Well, i can't guarantee Handbrake isn't going to make a mess, and i've no problem uploading the raw file at 4gb, but i don't have a place to upload that much to.

That's true. Dropbox limits out at 2 I believe. Upload what you can and I'll see what I can do.

Aighty, so, I went ahead and finished most of the video editing, to discover that an average time of 30 seconds or so is actually required. Ended up having to skip @dgeesi0's R4 Suby. I'll have to redo it, which also means redoing the forest transition... probably. It shouldn't take too long and I'll upload the video here shortly, still need to think of a good intro, and maybe some credits, but I have idea's for the credits. The only thing I can really think of for an intro is just kind of the DR logo overlaid, but that's pretty plain, Any better ideas? Maybe on one of the hairpins I can do a quick series of all the cars progressing through the turn...

Can't do it tonight, but if you need/want, i can do the R4.

I like a shorter intro, they annoy people on vids.  I like the idea of a very quick flash of the cars at a hairpin though.

Nay, Nay, Dgeesi0 already gave me like a 2nd place world record run, I just ran out of editing time/space? The video ended too soon since I made some earlier cuts too long, so it would've only been in for like 12 seconds. I need to redo the editing to make more room for it. Uploading a video now.

Also of note, @Snaky115, a quick exposure change corrected your bizarre gamma setting, but apparently you recorded in 50fps, not that it matters that much, just thought I'd point it out. Also seems like there's a fair amount of compression unfortunately....
