@JZStudios Here you go: http://1drv.ms/1RouBnh

I added two extra slowed down scenes, instead of implementing them in the replay itself. Don't mind the video preview there, the quality in the files themselves is lossless basically.

@Porkhammer, Thanks for doing the Lancia. Although I think I might hate you just a little bit now. Maybe it's your low DOR but at 900 it's almost constantly full lock turn in, opposite full lock turn out, and by that point it just twirls like a ballerina. Also might need you to upload it to another site so I can download it. (I'll get back to that later.)
@KevM, but... porky already did 70's...
@versedi, the 96 is good, no one else called dibs on that period.
@RyuMakkuro, That would be absolutely awesome letting use your OneDrive. Dgeesi0's file was a bit large at 1.7GB, but that's 1080p60.
@dgeesi0, ...it's a bit hard to tell. That's class 4 out of 10, so it'll be nearish the middle, so if you still have your first run I should be able to use that.
On a small side note, not all the cars actually have the year on them, (and I'm not a super huge rally follower) so I'll have to do a little bit of research on that.

Are you doing all cars, or one from each era?  I can do the Manta or M3/Sierra, whatever you require friend

I just want to get all eras covered first, and then if you guys are up to it, then sure, all cars. That being said however, I'm not sure I like the idea of working with a felon. Oh, wait, that's right, I work at a car wash. My manager has a prison tattoo sleeve.
@Porkhammer As far as I know, you can't do it without some shady app or website, which I've always avoided. If Ryu lets us use his OneDrive you could upload to that, or I could try that website dgessi0 uses with a free account.
Edit* also noticed that your videos in 720, can your PC not handle 1080, and if not, maybe Santa could bring you a present on the steamship.

I use a thing called "video downloadhelper" to download stuff off Youtube, nothing shady about it - and no, I doubt my PC can handle 1080p. Sorry. Let Kev do the 70's then?

at 1080p, I'm also buggered!  Me and Porky can cover the 60's, 70's and 80's in old bad blocky resolution, with a sepia tint etc and you can evolve the quality through the era's of rally to washed out colour average low-res Group B and 90's, & slightly better 2000's to a vivid 1080p Polo! lol

If you're playing at 1080p, you can record at 1080p. Just not with Fraps, as that is by far the worst recording software on the market right now. OBS should do the trick for you. You'll be able to record in at least 1080p30. Instead of YouTube (which is crap for sharing footage meant for editing process due to horrible compression) you can use my OneDrive, or Mediafire, or basically anything else.

Absolutely. still need group b rwd and awd, 80's, r4, kit car, 60's. However I actually do like @KevM's idea of him and pork doing the older cars in 720 and I can color filter for the time/era by looking up footage, which could also be kind of cool.

There are filters that can provide the effect of older footage. A lot better way then going for a pixelated 720p, which will NOT provide the effect you're looking for.

Yeah, thats not through choice though, 720 is quite literally the best we can do!   It wont be Pixelated at all, but the wording kinda got the idea across to JZ.

I was playing on a GTX460 for a very long time, and I was able to record at 1080p60 without much issue as long as I could normally play at 60FPS. So no, it's not the best you can do.
And 720p will be pixelated when upscaled to 1080p. It's not like upscaling the 1080p footage to 1440p at the end of editing where the bandwith plays the major role for YouTube. You're giving raw footage at 720p which will degrade quality and pixelation will be visible. Especially if JZ would upload at 1440p30, which is more desirable for a montage type of video (1080p60 is good for pure gameplay), at that point upscaling from 720p will be a pixelated nightmare.

As I have said a few posts ago, I spent a while last night refining my OBS Ryu.  On my PC, 60fps 1080p capture does not work.  It takes a single frame once every 4-5 seconds and records audio.  And I have 35meg Fibre here at home, if that has any YouTube relevance?

Your internet speed has nothing to do with YouTube bitrate. You don't need to capture at 60FPS. 30FPS 1080p, and you're ready to go while recording the replay. On top of that there are tons of tutorials online on how to set up OBS, Bandicam or Dxtory to record nicely without much or any performance loss.
Thing is, while Porkhammer can most definitely easily record at 1080p with his AMD CPU which is running 4+ cores at least (he's just too lazy to set other apps :p ), if you're running on an i3 or a Dual Core... well, forget. Then again, why did you even try to participate when you're simply gonna lower the general quality?

I would imagine that @JZStudios asks for help because he wants to improve the quality, not lower it. I don't mean that someone should not be able to help at all, but if you want to help you first need to be able to help. In the case here, if you're unable to record at a satisfying quality for a montage video (which is at least 1080p nowadays), then you're unable to provide any help.
You've mentioned many times that you're not well versed with PCs and yet here you are arguing about something you obviously have no idea. From the way you describe the settings, looks to me like you've turned on some experimental or incompatible options in the coder that result in some conflicts and CPU/GPU not knowing what to do and freezing everything.

If it can't record, it will drop from about 30FPS to 10-15FPS when you hit record button. At that point, there's no sense in you even contributing to this.

If it can record, from 30FPS it will drop to about... 28-30FPS when you hit record button. At that point it's a matter of finding the graphical settings that will keep you always above 30FPS.

In either of the case you should not experience your problems with a correctly setup recording software. I don't need to know your machine specification to realise that it's an issue on the "user-software" side. Why can I say that? Because I've seen that behaviour after playing with settings and trying to record on my own PC.

Instead of trying to hate on whatever I say, you could either search on Google/YouTube for some settings/solutions to your problems or ask for some advices. Be it me or someone else who actually has experience with recording software. It may come as me being arrogant, but I simply know what I can do and I don't underestimate or overestimate myself. If I have a knowledge on the subject, I'm not gonna be "modest" and hide it. I'm honest to the bone.

Yes, that's what I did.  I can play Medium/High at @ 50/60fps.  Even recording a replay to lessen the CPU/GPU load, I have to scale down and record at 30-35fps or OBS gets choppy or worse, even with multiple online recommended settings.

the CPU is a Phenom X4 850, quite old but more than up to DiRT Rally
