0.09s-long frame occurs each lap in benchmark mode

Recommended Posts

A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here.

There is at least one frame of more than 0.09 second each time I run a single lap benchmark in F1 2020 game, no matter how I change the game setup (more troubleshooting attempt I've made are listed below).

Here are all the benchmarks I have run.

DxDiag with Motherband information

What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen)

Latest (1.18)

Time Trial and Benchmark Mode (Other modes are not tested, but I guess they have the same issue.)

We need to be able to make your problem happen internally so we can fix the issue. Can you make the problem happen again?

Open the game, start benchmark, and check the csv file of the benchmark result.

How do you make the problem happen?

Nothing but starting benchmark.

What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue

  • Restart the computer
  • Install the latest graphic driver
  • Move the game into an SSD
  • Turn off unrelated softwares
  • Disable Steam overlay for the game
  • Change game settings (including setting a maximum frame rate, using low preset, turning on and off V-Sync, and using dynamic resolution)
  • Directly using Realtek for audio output (instead of using audio management softwares such as Voicemeeter)

What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc)

It doesn't matter.

Any screenshots or video of the issue? If the video is long, please include a timestamp for when the issue appears.

Benchmark results are provided above.
